Works perfectly for the Wii U
I got this because I have 2 GC controllers so now I can use them to play Smash Bros for the Wii U. A tip though; If you don't want the controller to be vibrating, only plug in the black USB and not the gray one.

GameCube adapter for smash bros is a must
Ready for smash bros! I’ve been wanting to play with my old and new GameCube controllers. It feels more natural this way. If I try to play with a switch remote I’m really bad lol.

High quality adapter!
Genuinely works perfectly, I have no complaints!I never noticed a problem with the speed of the adapter, and the length of the cord was more than enough for what I needed! This adapter is compatible with windows 10, and 11.

Very Long Cord
This adapter does exactly what you need it to, and huge bonus for me is that they designed it to have a super long cord. This is nice to give some additional length to the original GameCube controllers and to prevent from pulling on the Switch. Only down side is the plastic feels very cheap, but so far no problems!

Works perfectly
I bought this GameCube adapter to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on my Switch, and it works flawlessly! Setup was instant—just plug it in, and the controllers respond with zero lag. It also works great on PC for Dolphin emulator. The build quality feels solid, and all four ports function perfectly. If you’re a fan of classic GameCube controllers, this adapter is a must-have. Highly recommend!

Great Value
I already had one of these, but I wanted another one for when I'm on the go. It might be off brand, but it functions perfectly, and you're saving a few bucks, so the value is great!

Buy the Mayflash adapter instead - Custom driver insight and configuring the input
Please buy the official Mayflash brand adapter instead. That one does not have any of these problems. It just works. Now, about this adapter. Plugging the same (even OEM) controller into each port results in the device sending different payloads to your processor, for the analog output (at least). All analog signals; so the joystick, dpad, and triggers. This problem is most egregious with the joysticks. The controller drift this creates is a nightmare, unusable. After weeks of trying to reverse engineer this in an attempt to make my custom driver (for PC) reliable (the problem can be intermittent and worsens the longer the adapter is plugged in). I decided this was impossible without adding a complex calibration system. You have to understand, even setting the deadzones in Steam settings to the absolute max is not enough. The joysticks will eventually start to drift to the point where the center (hands off) value flickers between the maximum possible value of the stick (!) and a random value closer to the expected center. This means a game will think you are always trying to move in that, also random, direction. Complete nightmare. Since this adapter performs differently for each controller you have and which port it is connected to, and the fact Steam recognizes this adapter as one device, you have to reconfigure your Steam input every time you plug in a controller. The bugginess of the adapter makes it even harder, since Steam will think you are pressing buttons, etc, when you actually aren't. Trying to configure the dpad, in particular, is practically impossible. (Breathe.) Okay, the Mayflash adapter I bought does not have ANY of these problems. It just WORKS. Although Steam still recognizes that adapter as one device, but that doesn't matter. Even the dpad works noticeably better in games; I didn't know that was possible. It works with various generic controllers and OEM controllers perfectly. I should have never bought this cheap knockoff.
