I bought this to go on one of my homemade clocks. It’s perfect as it has the extended shaft. Fits and works perfectly

I had to cut off the loop to fit my clock.It would be helpful to know the diameters of the bosses for the hands, as these vary between manufacturers.It’s keeping good time.

I purchased this as a replacement for my beloved wall clock which has stopped working, at first when I replaced my old one this one only worked for 10 hours But it wasn't faulty it was a new battery I put in the clocked that must have been no good as I replaced it with another battery & my clock works fine it's been going now for 4 days it keeps excellent time only down down side is you cannot hear the tick which was the main reason I purchased this item.

I had tried (twice) to get a clock movement from another vendor and it kept arriving broken. So I tried Dan's clocks. The packing was simple, low cost, lightweight, and extremely effective. The movement was surrounded in a sphere of bubble wrap, and securely taped. All but indestructible. It came with basic fitting hardware (a large flat rubber washer, a thin metal washer and a mounting nut), and clear instructions. It fitted because it is offered with different spindle lengths and I chose the one for my clock-face. I was up and running in minutes. Delivery was good too. No complaints here; a good job at a fair price. The fact that I can choose variations on a theme (spindle length, high torque motor for longer heavier hands, etc) means if I need a clock movement again this will be my first port of call.Well done!

Seems to keep time so far but it does not take standard hands - they needed to be altered to fit the spindle
