Simple, clear and great examples to get you going. If you are in the process of changing jobs and need to prepare for an interview, or just generally need to reassess your position in life it is a great resource.Why this book is not given out at schools, uni's and job centers is beyond me. If you want to get where you need to be, or just work out a path to get you there then buy this book - you wont regret it!!

I was dubious about this book. Familiar with the business model canvas and it's delightful illustrations and step by step guidance, I thought at first glance that Business Model You seemed a bit poorly designed and lacked the impact of its sister titles. However, when I sat down and started to work through the exercises, I changed my mind. You need time, pens, sticky notes and willingness to work through this process but if you do you'll be rewarded with a better understanding of what makes you tick at work.

I mostly work online and in January my laptop was out of action for about 5 days. I had to get a tablet and I bought this book to be productive. I like the methodology in the book. If you try to do it all in a few days, it feels a bit tedious to do all the exercises.However, I stuck in and the end canvas result really helped me to formulate my future goals.I think the title could be a bit misleading as it can also help your current career goals rather than 'reinventing' them as well!

Just as much value, make some choices, turn away from distractions, clear the fog of confusion and determine what you do not want to spend time on. Business Model You is designed to be personal, uncover and define your purpose and how that is to be lived, other books in the series - for the wider world, Business Model Generation and Value Proposition are also heartily recommended.

The one-pager is the end-result of a number of very insightful exercises. The book provides an excellent process to get from how you work currently to where you want to be and how to get there by modifying the elements in your personal business model. Highly recommended.

I read this on my Kindle on holiday and my main piece of advice is to buy the paperback as you need to work with the mind maps and charts in the book and even by changing the view to landscape didn't allow me to see the images clearly enough.

In a fast changing world employability is Key even if you work within a company. This book is an easy and helpfull tool to reflect on your own added value. I am very pleased with this purchase. The book is well designed and the content interesting and very motivating. I bought this book in preference to the other by the same team, Business Model Generation, as I think it is more suited to readers who, like myself, are interested in working as self-employed freelancers as opposed to running a larger business. I think it is also useful in purely personal development terms.

If you follow the BMC, then this is a natural follow up book. Great to do with all the people on your team and if you invest enough time with them through this process then it's quite remarkable what you come out with. Very happy I purchased it!

I think this lectura and work inside is a must read for every person, I've learned many about myself since the first chapter, I spend a bunch of paper working and discovering who I am, I think everybody must do the exercise very often.

I was advised this book by a dear friend of mine, and must say that it was one of the most helping book I've read throughout the changes in my life. 6 months ago I've decided to quit my day job and start a freelance business. Since then, I've worked on some side projects, started with missions, learned new things, discovered a lot of new things / habits / people. This book helped me build this whole thing, and give me clear objectives, and a "map" of what I wanted to do with my life on the career level. It was both inspiring and reassuring and I can't stress enough how much it can help you if you're searching your path.
