Crazy 5GHz speeds, meh 6GHz range
The 5GHz band on this router is insane, reaching extremely high speeds, in the range of 500-700mbps, even if you are a bit far away. The 6GHz band is only "meh" in my opinion. The range isn't the best, and even though you can consistently get 750-850mbps when close enough, it simply doesn't reach far enough to make it worth using in most cases.I think this device is great if you have mostly WiFi-6 or WiFi-5 devices (WiFi-6 only supports 5GHz while WiFi-6e supports 6GHz) and a few WiFi-6e devices that are within close range of the router. The 5GHz performance is very hard to beat.As for the web panel, I don't dislike it at all. It is much more in-depth than my Linksys router was and lets you configure things a lot easier. Additionally, it doesn't take forever to change the settings or constantly insist on restarting the router to change settings that shouldn't need a router reboot (looking at you, Linksys!) However, I do not like how it pushes you to make a cloud account and use it through the mobile app and that it pushes you to use the mobile app even during initial setup. I don't want my router connected to your servers, and in my opinion, this should not be a requirement to use the mobile app.Overall, great 5GHz performance with only meh 6GHz performance. Works great, is reliable, and has great coverage, well, at least on the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands.

Awesome choice!
Works awesome! Crazy fast speeds. Is not very compact so make sure you have room for it.

Amazingly fast
The set up was very simple, I like the app you can choose which speed for each device so if you have a older device and it only works on 2.4 GHz or 5GHz than you can apply it for that device only and if you have newer devices that work with 6GHz or faster then that device is dedicated to that speed you choose , finally a router for all your new and older devices with out sacrificing speed simply amazing I also like the security it offers for every device that is connected to wifi or ethernet. Highly recommend this router!

Slower speeds than my regular 6
Had slower speeds than my netgear rax50. 2.4 kept disconnecting messing up all off my alexa devices, I had to re-pair all of my light bulbs and echos. Easy setup, great if you are upgrading from 5 but not from a 6. And yes all my devices are 6E compatible.

Impressive
Had a routeur for 16 years and it died on me after all those years of great service. The configuration is easy for all levels of technical knowledge. The basic configuration is pretty easy to follow to bring the security at a good level. For the tech people, you can configure it to your level without all the troubles of going in deep with coding. The connectivity is great for many devices at the same time and the signal strength is quite impressive. The features are great and I recommend it for a home network well protected.

Router works very well
I’m an IT consultant with 30 years experience. I’ve tried 8 different 6E routers out in the field and decided to try this one.It is in perfect condition out of the box and is about as easy to setup as anyone could ask for.I have WiFi 6E, WiFi 6 and WiFi 5 and WiFi 4 devices on my home network. This router performs well with all devices at default settings. After scanning all the channels and selecting them manually it really is impressive.I’ve found the Wi-Fi 6 devices really perform the best and I’m getting great speeds close and far. The only weak link is WiFi 6E distance performance which is to be expected but up close it performs better than other routers I have tried. I also don’t like the add on security pay as you go but I just ignore it and don’t use it. If I had children at home I would probably consider paying for the security features so no harm no foul. Very pleased with this router as a standalone in my large apartment.

Dream home network without APs?
This router was to replace my 8+ year old linkys router that I have been using for years.Pro #1, a third band to spread out the congestion across your network. I know many devices still don’t support 6ghz WiFi, but this is really a way to future proof yourself. Also if you are in an apartment, chances are most of your neighbors don’t have a 6ghz band, which means it will be unused for you.Pro #2 ax WiFi protocol (for me) seems to have a noticeable improvement Speedtest wise and stream quality wise over ac and other previous WiFi protocols. For example, on my old ac protocol router (wifi 5), I would get around 200x200 mbps speed tests in my living room on 5g wifi. On this router, I have seen 600/600+ mbps speed tests in the same room.Pro #3 the mobile application and the web based UI. As a network technician, I have used many commercial and residential user interfaces. This one checks all of the boxes that I really need as a residential user. From logs to the security to the simplistic feel of it. Nighthawk has it all
