Love this harness and wish Id bought it years ago ! My little Westie Jack has some, what shall we say , um strange phobias and I never know whether someone or something , another dog etc , will frighten him and cause him & me stress trying apologise for the snapping or barking , the spinning around on his lead thing or indeed the Houdinini like ability to escape from any type of harness or collar ! I have often been seen exiting a conversaton with another dog walker very rudely as Mr Jack has yet again taken offence and escaped from his harness or alternately had to avoid a dog and his owner who is "safe " because again Mr Jack has decided not to like that dog or person on that particular day ! Very embarrassing , stressful and,even though I can talk for Wales , I get really fed up with having to apologise & explain myself and my dogs irrational behaviour . So now its down to the approaching doggy people whether they talk or not as all I have to do is point at the bright yellow harness with the obvious "nervous " wording and I am totally releived of all my obligations as another dog owner - good for days when you`ve had an argument with husband , kids etc or just feel anti-social as you often do when youre menopausal - me , not the dog obviously !! So , on a sensible note this is a worthwhile bit of kit and certainly for me does the job , it is well made , strong and easy to put on a fidgety Westie and the colour is great - dont hesitate if considering one - and - the best bit - Mr Jack has not escaped not even come close - success ! I also think the styling gives him some sense of comfort and security as the chest area is held quite securley so not allowing him to put much force into pulling at all . Now , I need one for me .... that says "nervous of ..... cooking , cleaning etc " ! Excellent product !UPDATE : this item has now been unusable for about 2 months as its frayed badley with gentle normal use . I dont have faith in its safety at this point so am having to throw it away . I can see plenty of others have had the same problem so maybe Dexil need to revise their design and fabric type as its obviously not strong enough ... I will be asking for a replacement as 6 months usage is not very satisfactory given Ive had other harnesses for over 5 years ! The idea is great though .

Looks so cute on and does the job .Still a tiny bit loose under her armpits but adjusts better than most harness I've tried

The sizing is good so able to asap. The quality of the items are good and the colour is great.

I liked the comfort of the fabric...just adopted an older little Bichon after an horrific life at the hands of a puppy farmer.This brave little girl needs all the TLC we can give. Whilst the harness offers good girth support ,I wish it could be better designed to adjust around the neck for greater security.I I have the medium size which is large around her neck .... Could a Velcro flap be included in the design ? Which wouldn’t add much to the cost The wording is bold enough-however to warn others to give her space as she ventures into the world outside for the first time. A good product which has the potential to be a great one.

Perfect fit for my 14kg dog, looks great, good quality and bright material. I have a rescue dog who is very wary of strangers and big dogs. Other dog owners are now more respectful and give my dog more space and call their dog away from mine. The result I wanted when I ordered this item!

great quality and fit

Customer service from this company was absolutely dreadful. In their email reply they were so busy gushing about what a great product this is and what a difference it is making in the world, that my questions went unanswered and, when I emailed for clarification, I got no response.The XS harness says it doesn't fit dogs with a head measurement over 9 or 10 inches (they have two different max measurements for the same size harness), yet our Chihuahua cross with a girth of 39cm had a head measurement of 10.5 inches! So whilst the XS harness obviously made sense around her girth (there would be just 1cm leeway on the S harness) it apparently wouldn't fit over her head.We bought this harness anyway as the larger size didn't make any sense, and if it didn't fit we could return it.The harness DID fit over her head, no issues there, but the harness itself isn't very impressive. The vest part is nicely padded, but the nylon straps going behind her front legs aren't, and they feel very sharp and unforgiving. They feel far worse than other harnesses we have used with nylon straps, eg. EzyDog.The head hole on these harnesses are ridiculously small, so if you have a dog with a larger-than-average head you need to measure and make sure the harness will fit over it!! We bought a larger size for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and although it fit around her belly and neck, we couldn't get the harness over her head and so couldn't use it at all - that was when there was no max head measurements too, so we had no way of knowing.There are two D clips on this harness, front and back, but they both sit very high up and close to the dog's throat. This renders the harness more like a collar really as all pressure is just below the dog's throat; again something to be aware of if your dog is a brachy breed, has a delicate neck etc.We will be able to use this harness, it just has some glaringly obvious faults and is nowhere near as good as we were hoping.
