These noodles are good if you're eating them for the heat that they bring. If you're buying to try (or if you have low heat tollerance), I recommend having some form of dairy product on standby to quell the inevitible inferno that will soon be your mouth and stomach lining. You can also use only half the sauce packet to cut back on the heat, or have some patience and wait for the noodles to cool down fully. Your choice.Personally, I like adding roughly a quarter cup of shredded firm mozzarella cheese either during the sautè step or mixing it in right before you add the toppings. Adding a fried egg is also good, or some cuts of cooked meat on the side. Top with diced green onion and it's pretty good.

got this after a disappointing request for spicy at the local asian restaurant. this stuff packs some heat, is easy to cook, and doesn't cost 14 bucks plus tax and tip for one bowl! i tried it straight up, but next time i am adding chicken and some veggies since it's a sauce, not a soup. knocks the socks of the "spicy" chicken basil noodle i had the other day. small warning: between the sauce and the ramen, the finished product is a little oily; combined w/ pepper, i think i stained my shirt w/ a small drop. wear a bib!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is great ramen. But if you use the sauce be prepared. It is very spicy. I love spice and even eat jalpenos sliced onto my burger (fresh not cooked) and this was spicy for me. Go slow and use half the packet of sauce the first time just to be sure. But my kids and I love it.

Easy as pie, actually much easier. It's spiciness is... it's not unspicy by...welll... some people of, uh, certain...traditions? might find it...um... aw screw it. It's white people spicy. Flavor is good, but not special. No real complaints.

As someone who loves spicy, like orders mango habanero at BWW spicy, this was WAY too hot to fully eat with half the packet. It tasted so darn good tho. I drank a cold Gatorade, chocolate milk, 32 oz of ice water, and my mouth was still watering. My eyes even watered. I hate that it tastes so good, but buyers beware. It's effing hot.

Very flavorful & chewy ramen type noodle. Definitely follow the directions for this one. This isn’t prepared like other cup of noodle type ramens. This is pretty spicy compared to most “American” spice levels I would say this is going to be a bit hot for some. I would say the Jiajiang flavor would be better for those who don’t like a lot of spice. That’s their black bean flavor which even has a bit of spice & is my favorite flavor since I have nothing to prove. 😉

I've been meaning to try this for quite a while. It's definitely better than most instant ramen. It's spicy but if you don't like that you can add 50% of the sauce or less depending on your spice rolerance

It is too spice even for a person who can with stand better spicy level. I would recommend to have cheese to be added to the item
