Order one per month and you are set!
These are fantastic, we started them on a subscription back in July so we would have plenty for winter and we do! Blocks are big but easily broken up and you only need a small piece, so these really last.My husband is cold 98% of the time and needs to start the fire fast in the morning, this does the trick every time. And if the zombie apocolypse ever happens and we have to flee to the woods, we are taking these with for sure. I think these would start a rock on fire! A+++++++

they really work
I like that I can break them up into smaller pieces and spread them around my kindling when I go to light the woodstove. They burn a fair amount of time, so if you are using fairly dry wood and not trying to start a log without a bed of coals they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I keep a couple of small pieces in a zip lock bag in my hunting pack in case I need to start a fire, I also keep some in all my get-home bags, in my vehicles.

I've used these for years!
We've used these exact Fire Starter bricks for years the instructions tell you that you need way more than you actually need though. We just break off a chunk and that's always been enough to get a fire started. We're able to make one box last quite a long time and we burn frequently, as we use our fireplaces for heat instead of turning on our heaters.
