Infuriating but I'm determined
Great puzzle....if you've got patience and perseverance because it's repetitive and a bit tricky! Took some time but almost done. Some pieces were slightly damaged in the manufacturing I can only imagine but didn't make any difference

Lovely puzzles
Lovely puzzles however quality is not perfect. There where some piecywe had to flatten down a bit. Other than that quite enjoyable to put it together. Have to admit moon was the hardest to finish.

Good subject and picture
Nearly all of my jigsaws are chosen for their subject and picture! Love doing them - but the subject has to be interesting!

A good idea let down by less than ideal production quality.
No Poster, but some NASA themed stickers. Concentric rings of hexagonal pieces. 500 pieces. 48cm Diameter. Two jigsaws, Earth and Moon, in one box. Average piece size 3.62cm2. Board thickness 1.75mm, less than the industry norm of 2mm for high quality puzzles. This jigsaw was made in China. There is no poster and the only guide to construction is the relatively low resolution images of the earth and the moon printed together on the box cover. There was no difference in the quality of the two puzzles. Not all the pieces were separated. This was an issue mainly with the outside edge. There was also some delamination. Some pieces were slightly damaged out of the bag. This view from the back shows the backing paper torn off on one tab and starting to delaminate on another. These jigsaws were challenging, particularly for the moon because of the lack of colour clues, the low resolution of the box image and that the jigsaw image was not very sharp.Puzzles with hexagonal pieces are inherently harder than those with rectangular pieces. This is because while there are only six types of rectangular pieces (4 blanks 0 tab, 3b 1t, 2b 2t (cruciform), 2b 2t (with 1b and 1t on each axis), 1b 3t, and 0b 4t), there are fifteen types of hexagonal pieces. reThese are:1. No tabs and 6 blanks.2. 1 tab and 5 blanks.3. 2 tabs and 4 blanks in three variants: 2 tabs together, 2 tabs separated by one blank and 2 tabs separated by 2 blanks.4. 3 tabs and 3 blanks in four variants: 2 tabs together, 3 tabs with on blank between each, 2 tabs together with the last tab separated by one blank in a clockwise direction, and 2 tabs together with the last tab separated by two blanks in a clockwise direction.5. 4 tabs and 2 blanks in three variants: 4 tabs together, 3 tabs together and one separate, and two pairs of tabs separated by 1 blank on each side.6. 5 tabs and one blank.7. 6 tabs and on blanks. The large number of variants means that solving by shape-sorting is far more difficult for puzzles with hexagonal pieces. My scale for difficulty is based on how long it takes me to complete a puzzle:1. Faster than normal for that size of puzzle.2. Typical time for that size of puzzle.3. Significantly longer than normal.4. Four times as long as normal for the size of puzzle.5. More than four times a long as normal for that size of puzzle. The Earth rated 4/5 on this scale and the Moon was 5/5. The Moon puzzle was taking so long that I just gave up.Despite the quality problem with the puzzles, the Earth puzzle held together well when assembled and could be lifted as a unit. Overall, I rate the puzzles as three out of five given the lack of a proper image and the quality issues. On its own the Earth probably rates a four out of five.
