Biona Rye Bread Organic 500g (Pack of 7)

For those of us who would prefer not to eat wheat products, this Biona rye bread is ideal being delicious and also coming in a very accessible, long slice shape easily detachable from the rest of the packet plus this bread comes not only plain, as this one is, but with a variety of different add-ons! Truly delicious, every one of the options.

I have a bad bloating and heartburn reaction with pretty much all wheat bread. It’s so refreshing to find a reliable tasty, hearty textured, flavourful bread made from rye. Toasted with butter or fried in olive oil it’s delicious with any accompaniments.

I’m a man who likes a wholesome slice. Whole grain / multi-seed just doesn’t hit the spot. Rye does. Sweet-baby-jesus this is the kinda toast Desperate Dan would appreciate. Pre sliced, great taste and nourishing for body and soul. (I toast mine on max setting…longer the better. Sometimes I double toast if I’m feeling naughty)

This is great bread for toasting and having with poached eggs or sardines etc... it doesn't turn to mush. It is quite moist in the packet so to avoid mould issues we froze ours on arrival and just take a slice from the freezer to toast as we need it.

I like this bread but as with other yeast free breads tends to be on the dry side. However, I like the flavours and aroma and it is very filling. I tend to eat it with moisture rich foods such as vegetable base pates/spreads or with a deliciously dressed salad, or on occasion a slither of manuka honey.. or even a drizzle of olive or other oil may also enhance the taste. This is one of the few yeast free breads that I enjoy eating so I do tend to repurchase.

Best rye bread I have tried. Comes with a great expiry date as well. I am really pleased. Will order again and again.
