I bought this HG Mould Spray after trying a few weaker alternatives that barely touched the mould creeping along the silicone in my bathroom. I sprayed it directly onto the affected areas, left it for about 20 minutes, and then rinsed it off. The results were almost instant. The black mould stains around the bath sealant and along the bottom edge of the tiled wall disappeared like magic. No need for scrubbing at all, which is a huge plus.The smell is quite strong – a bit like a concentrated bleach scent – so I’d definitely recommend keeping the window open while using it.I also wore gloves, just to be on the safe side. Make sure the area is well ventilated!!! I can say this cleared up our tiny upstairs bathroom amazingly, beyond all of my expectations. It's a really good quality products and it was brilliantly effective. However, the smell could've killed a horse. Even after washing it down, getting the dehumidifier on, ventilating the room I could still feel my nostrils singeing days later.

We had very bad black mould in our shower. The shower is in the basement with no window but there is an extractor fan.Over a period of months the black mould has got worse despite trying to clean it off with a scrubber, only bits came off.So I bought the HG spray for £4.50 for a punt.First off, you need to remove a part of the bottle to open it, it's not the part in the image, it's the clear plastic bump between the neck and the trigger, check YouTube for a good video, then twist the tab 90 degrees and you can start spraying.I ended up using the whole bottle over 4 attempts as it was so bad, but each attempt was better and better.It now has mould stains but I'd say it has removed a good 90% of the black mould and I'm happy with that.Now we have something to work with on a cleaning schedule with less harsher chemicals.I agree it is a strong smell, but it didn't linger for long, especially with the extractor fan on.For the price, even using the full bottle was money well spent.I'd expect if ours was less established it would have worked even better.Very happy with my purchase.
