Fantastic little universal tripod that would fit most smart phones. I have an iPhone 6s and it fits into the clamp with a case on, no problem.I recently got back from a trip to Costa Rica where I used this tripod religiously while making a travel video. I barely took the phone out of the clamp and got quite used to carrying my phone around by the legs of the tripod. This meant that as soon as I had an idea for a shot I could instantly prop the camera up, or attach it to a tree branch or stair rail.More recently I went on another hiking trip to Ireland where I had planned to make a similar travel video. Stupidly I forgot the tripod.Not having the tripod on the second trip highlighted just how useful it really is. I wasted so much time trying to prop my phone up my backpack and rocks. It was very frustrating - I shall not be forgetting it again.1 star lost because it does feel quite cheap and plasticky but it is such good value that this really isn't a problem. I've bought a second as a spare and so that my girlfriend can mount her phone too.

Worked as expected. BUT the mount to hold the phone snapped from where is attached to the leg deeming it useless. I took this on holiday and managed to get a few good shots with it but had to throw it away after. Not the best build quality.It was very lightweight, portable and the legs were able to make ease of uneven surfaces.

Fell apart fast and not nearly strong enough to hold a phone

Easy to put together and simple to use

I have joined an online competition group where you enter by posting up a video of yourself doing the set challenge. You need to have your full body from feet to above head in the frame. Putting my mobile phone on the floor leaning against the wall didn't work well. It also holds the phone at an easier to view angle for using my interval timer app for exercise workouts.This is great. It holds the phone secure in cushioned 'jaws' so the phone isn't scratched. I have dropped a star for them being too secure; with my athritic fingers it is a job to get on and off. After a while I stopped taking it off and (serendipity) found it easier to hold the "slippery little sucker" using it as a handle.You can have it portrait or landscape. There are screws/plates to allow you to use it with small video camera. The little legs allow the power cable to be attatched to the phone and not cause it to move or fall over. You can alter the angle of the attatched phone etc by loosening thumbscrews, realigning and tightening to keep in place. The legs can be moved every which way or curled round things. There are directions to the website/youtube for instructions on how to use it.It is good value/quality for money, came quickly, well packed, and easy to open. I am pleased with my purchase.Update: with being in lockdown I am using this for a lot more than the originial thing that I bought it for. We are keeping in touch with family in video chats and it's more comfortable just sitting in front of the phone than holding it up and away so my hand/arm doesn't get tired either. Just a quick adjustment to landscape and we can both sit comfortably side by side on the settee. I am also doing demonstration video blogs and with it I have both hands free, and the 'curly' legs mean I can hang/fix it in any place to get the best shot of what I'm doing.Warning: I thought all three legs swiveled in the top joint but have found out that the back one is fixed. After 15 months of almost daily use and adjustment this leg has broken, but it was my fault. I was so pleased with this wee tripod I am ordering another ... and this time looking at the instructions video!It's a great gadget at a great price.
