A Bitter Solution to Break Bad Habits 💅🚫
As someone who has struggled with nail biting for years, I was eager to try Mavala's Stop formula in hopes of finally kicking the habit. This clear treatment polish promises to discourage nail nibbling with its intensely bitter taste. And for the most part, it delivers on that claim. The first thing I noticed after applying Mavala Stop is just how potent and lingering the bitter taste is. One little lick of your nail and you're met with an incredibly unpleasant flavor that forcefully reminds you to keep fingers out of your mouth. For determined nail biters like myself, that powerful aversive element is key.I also appreciated how the product goes on smoothly with a clear, glossy finish - no gloppy white mess. It wears well for a couple days before needing to be reapplied. The small 10ml bottle also lasts quite a while with regular use. However, there are a couple downsides to note. The intense bitterness can accidentally transfer to foods if you're not diligent about keeping your nails away from your mouth entirely. There's also no real way to "cheat" the system - even a tiny taste is enough to make you regret taking that nail-nibbling risk.Overall, Mavala Stop is an effective tool for combating nail biting and thumb sucking habits, especially for motivated individuals. The foul taste really does discourage those unconscious biting urges. Just be prepared for an incredibly bitter experience if you slip up, and take care not to get it in your food. For me, it's been worth the tradeoff to finally break this destructive habit.

Best beauty Decision ever!! 5* product which helped me regain confidence
Amazing product. Does what it says on the tin.I’ve bitten my nails for almost thirty years. I once stopped biting them for about six months but only because they were in artificial nails always. But there’s never been a time where I’ve had them exposed and not bitten. It’s been a real battle. My nails have therefore always looked bitten, unhealthy, malnourished and quite disgusting. I could only go on dates if I had fake nails. Playing pool, typing, holding a microphone or even gesturing became quite embarrassing with these nasty nails. I always felt embarrassed and disappointed in my self.I decided to try a bitter tasting polish as a fix. Best decision ever! This one tastes so Terrible and each coat lasts for days so you only have to reapply every 3-5 days depending on how often you wash. That means even though it’s a small bottle, it will last you months.I started using this on the 23rd of September 2018 and because of how bitter it tasted, the aversion started immediately. I stopped biting immediately but would initially still try to just have the fingers around my mouth but the taste is so nasty and long lasting that i actually became used to keeping my hands away from my mouth and even hated the idea of my hands going near my face. Do keep the bottle tightly sealed and clean as mine leaked and so it’s almost empty. However, even though I only used it for six weeks, I’ve now stopped biting my nails and instead obsess about having a healthy nail care regime which consists of pushing the cuticles back, painting them and applying nail hardener. My nails have grown leaps and bounds as you can see from the before and after photos (taken 6-7 weeks apart). I can now have a full manicure, paint them and flaunt my nails. They look amazing, I get complements from friends and family but they are quite weak due to extended Time spent biting for almost 30 years plus lots of gels, acrylic and stick on nails. So I am now rather focused on treating them and getting them strong and healthy.I can’t explain the joy, peace, confidence and freedom I feel from using this. It’s honestly changed my life. My family and friends are so proud of me. Thank God. Cheers to the manufacturers of this and the amazon seller. I’m so grateful: you changed my life.

It works, for a while!
It really works. I 'was' a nail biter from as young as I can remember to past 28 years old, but have stopped that now and this stuff really helped. I put this on my nail, then a layer of OPI nail strengthener, then another nail of anti nail bite - it then made this product last over a week and strengthened the nail too. I suggest you buy this for children - I was a nail biter all my life because my parents didn't take my nail biting seriously - act now, protect your children!EDIT: over a year later...I keep going back to biting my nails, I guess habits aren't so easy to change - it worked for a while when I was really concentrating on changing my ways, but eventually I've gone back to biting and nibbling and the sore finger tips us nail biters are used to. Oh well. If your stuck in that predicament all I can advise for you is that the best thing I found to do is to replace nail biting with nail care, when I was smoothing and polishing my nails on a regular basis, I bit my nails much less often, partly because loose bits of nail start me off on a chomping campaign, and partly because caring for them more acts as a reminder to stop biting them. Using a clear nail varnish also helped, and unlike the product this review is for it didnt leave a horrible taste in my mouth(which the product above does even if your noth biting your nails - like if your eating a burger and your lip touches your finger, it totally spoils your food...)
