Flavours are a bit bland
I like the texture of these snacks, but I do find the flavours very bland and leave an odd aftertaste in the mouth

Very tasty
Very tasty snacks, would be great if the bigger packets had a sealer on them to keep them fresh

Few flavours, lots of bags.
Box is fairly big with a boombox design. I suppose it could be given as a gift, but I did just put the packets straight into a drawer as they didn't really need a box that large. You do get a lot in the box, 20 small packs in total and 4 bigger packs. Unfortunately, there are only 4 flavours here, it would have been nice to see more variety with how much you receive, it feels more like a bulk buy of snacks than a variety pack.Chip shop chickpeas and the piri mango chickpeas have the most flavours going on, a little sweet, I'm typically not a fan of curry flavoured snacks but these were really good. The beef brisket board beans and pulled pork broad beans however were very salty, a little too salty for me. A shame as I thought I would enjoy these far more than the chickpeas. The broad beans seem to be seasoned whereas the chickpeas are coated in a crunchy seasoning. If you've tried them before it's a good bulk buy, if you’ve not tried them it's definitely worth a try. They are as tasty as usual snacks but feel healthier, the saltiness of the broadbean flavours is a shame.

Really satisfying snacks with great flavour and crunch
I’ve encountered the Noisy Snacks brand before, and they are definitely my favourite when it comes to chickpea and bean snacks. The texture and the flavours make them a really good substitute for packs of nuts, to the extent that I can ignore the fact they’re also healthy and just enjoy them as a snacking treat. The beef brisket is the best of the lot, and I was happy to see the two extra 100g bags of that flavour included alongside the 25g snack packs. It isn’t just ‘beefy’ like you get with beefy crisps, it really does have a brisket-like, ‘burnt ends’ barbecue flavour to it that’s really enjoyable. It works well with the texture, so that the texture doesn’t feel too dry.I’m also a fan of the pulled pork flavour. Again, it’s a different flavour to what other brands would do as ‘bacon flavour’, and somehow they’ve managed to make it taste like real roast pork- even down to the fat and that slight hint of pork scratchings, which not everyone will like, but I do. And the fact it’s like pork scratchings but without that unpleasant chewy texture means it’s a win-win for me.The chickpea snacks are good too. I sometimes struggle with spice, and here, the spicy one isn’t the one I expected- I was braced for the piri mango flavour to be the one that would make my eyes water, but in fact, that one’s more sweet and fruity and no problem for me at all. The chip shop curry flavour, on the other hand, has a bit of a kick to it- definitely stronger than the curry sauce in my local chippy, that’s for sure. There’s a lot of flavour powder in each of the packs, so the snacks already have a fair bit of flavour, but if you follow the ‘shake me to wake me’ instruction then it adds a bit more punch. Otherwise you end up with leftover salty flavour at the bottom of the pack- though licking that from a wet finger isn’t too bad either. These aren’t cheap snacks, though just how expensive they are would depend on what you’re comparing them to. But this Boombox selection is one of the brand’s most cost-effective ways to get a snack selection, and considering the four 100g packs that are included, it doesn’t end up working out too badly at time of writing, if the alternatives were other chickpea brands or nut packs. These are going down a treat here and each time I’ve got one in my lunchbox I genuinely look forward to eating it.

On the whole good vegetable snacks - meaty-style flavours, but vegan-friendly
The Noisy snacks theme is carried through to the Boombox multi snack pack well, with the snacks delivered in a handled carton that’s printed to look like a retro boombox. The box is quite a bit bigger than the volume of the snacks - on opening the top this looks about half empty. The two types (with four flavours between them) of vegan snacks are both pretty nice. They come in packets that look and feel deceptively as though they’re made from paper, but inside them is plastic-coated.I’ve had broad bean snacks before in Graze’s Marmite Crunch vegetables mix. These are a bit different - made from flattened pieces of larger beans, where the Graze versions seemed to be made from baby beans. They’re still pretty nice, and deliver on the promised crunch. The Beef Brisket flavour has good umami, and a bit of acidity cutting through, though on the whole they taste like weak Marmite rather than meaty. The pulled pork smells and tastes like smoky bacon. The chickpeas are crunchy, but not too hard. The coating is similar in texture to the covering that goes on to the kinds of coated peanuts that have a textured layer of crunchy stuff around them. The flavouring of the curry sauce variety is definitely that of a generic curry sauce. For my taste, I would have preferred a bit less sweet and a bit more salt to the mix. The Piri Mango is the one of these I didn’t really care for, finding the flavour a bit lacking in oomph compared to the others.

These are ok.
These are ok, but they give me a little reflux. My husband loves them though.
