I ordered this after purchasing one off cricut’s website and they messed up and canceled my order. I was in a desperate need of a new machine and have been wanting this newer model since it came out. I was looking g for a bundle deal, when I came across this one because I wanted some smart vinyl. I will say it cost me about $100 more than what it would have cost me on criciut site and it doesn’t come with as much vinyl as the one on cricut’s site, but it was still better and cheaper than purchasing the machine alone.I love how quiet it is over the older versions. It cuts quicker, however, I still have not used the smart vinyl to see how much quicker that cuts. One difference I have noticed is on the older machine you could choose how you wanted it to cut. You could choose more or less and on this one you can’t. This machine however allows you to cut many different types of a material. A lot more than the older versions.

Wow this machine is amazing! I’m a “dance team mom” but not a regular dance team mom, I’m a cool dance team mom! Hahaha - movie quotes aside… In my mom duties I had to make locker posters for the whole team. I’m new to this and had no clue how to do that! So I bought this machine and I learned what I needed to make some cardstock letters and team spirit cutouts in 24 hours, watched a few videos and tada!!! It was fun and I’m excited to try more things! I’m sure I’ll have more mom duties where this will come in handy. I girl mathed the whole purchase and it totally pays for itself over 4 years of having a daughter in Highschool. Just buy it!

Buyer Beware: this does NOT come with the cutting mat like the main photo shows, just the smart vinyl. All of the boxes my smart vinyl came in were damaged in packaging. It looked like someone opened the box and shoved a bunch of stuff into it to make it a bundle that it’s not originally sold as.Overall, nice machine though.

I bought as a surprise for daughter-in-law who had surprised her dad with cool things she made for him with Cricut Joy. She is such a great person, single mom of 2 and a nurse. I wanted to give her a special surprise gift. So, I researched the best Cricut out there with larger format so it would make crafting easier. I found the best deal here on Amazon. Beat the prices at Cricuit store by a lot. She loves it! She was an art major in college originally and has a real eye for creators. Made me happy to give her a gift she loved and would use and safe her time with the rolls of vinyl.
