Very poorly constructed
It was a gift and what a major disappointment that it stopped working with a half hour of playing. Very poor durability. I would NOT recommend it.

Not as bad as others are saying
The plastic thing it was in was open like some other people’s were, but it looks like it was glued together poorly and popped off by being jostled in delivery so I don’t really hold that against it. It’s just like how the packaging comes off toys from DollarTree easily, not like it was tampered with or anything.A lot of people are saying it’s broken, but all you have to do is replace the paper in the top with tissue paper like with any kazoo. Most people have tissue paper lying around the house so it’s a quick fix.My only issue with it is that the tip/fake reed pops off, so I had to superglue it down.

cheapie plastic toy
this is a very cheap plastic toy, similar to what you would easily find at any dollar store. That being said, it is fun for a child to blow in to make lots of noise and play with.

Toys - Just for looks
Ordered a bunch of these for children's parade. Half of them didn't work. Toy Toy Toy quality but kazoo parts don't work

Not what we expected
My 3 year old daughter is into intrustruments and so far she has a drum set, flute, trumpet, violin, tamborine, harmonica, saxophone and a guitar. We were completing her collection by buying this clarinet.The gold part of the clarinet was "ok". However, it DOES NOT make any noise at all! The worst part is, the black mouth piece fell off the 2nd day after we bought it. Safety hazard if you have kids younger than 5. We bought a total of 3 instruments and they all made sound except this one. We are not pleased with the purchase, and now have to buy another one. My daughter doesn't even play with it. I guess I should have expected this, due to the price. I would not recommend it.

For all party kazoo's. Very good quality. Bought them for props because my Wife uses a Karaoke box for her "band". I tried one kazoo and it worked as good as any kazoo i have used.
