I’ve used a Remington electric shaver for years, which is a very reliable shaver, with excellent battery, life and performance. However, when I saw the price of the shaver, which was much less expensive than even the replacement cutter for my Remington, I decided to give it a try And so glad I did. That being said, I don’t perceive it will have the longevity that my Remington has had left parentheses which is over five years). However, at this price, I don’t care. If it lasts six months, then my cost of ownership is less than buying the replacement cutterhead for the Remington.Pro- very low price- -gives a close shave, as good as any other electric shave I’ve used EVER- very lightweight and easy to handle- great battery life. Have charged it only once in the first 2 weeks of use.- Pop trimmer works well.- battery percentage display is large, bright and easy to read; plus it seems quite accurate.- very kind to sensitive skinCON- I’m not sure this will last as long as my Remington. Just an impression since it works great in the first 2 weeks. Might be misleading to include this as a negative.SummaryGreat performance and value. I liked it so much that I bought another so I have a replacement ready. I highly recommend it. Just BUY IT

I had my doubts but read a review that convinced me to order this razor. Truly surprised to have the same experience. This is the best razor that I have ever had. It shaves really well and all spots. I was accustomed to finishing with a disposable razor for certain spots like my neck. This razor gives me a nice, close shave. It came fully charged with the digital display showing 99. The charges lasts a long time. Seems like about two weeks or more. I have only charged it once. Don’t overthink this razor. It’s only $20 and works great.

This shaver is the Wenzhou Pritech RSM-1577, advertised as a water-proof 3-element foil shaver with a pop-up trimmer and chargeable by USB.I bought it on August 6, 2023 at amazon.com. It claims a list price of just under $30, and sells regularly for $21.99. I got a 15-percent-off coupon, and adding state sales tax and free Prime shipping, it cost me less than $20.00. A similar-sized Braun 3 series shaver costs between $45 and $80 on Amazon depending on model, seller, and date you see the listing.My first full shave with this unit took 9 minutes. I have a large face and neck, and a very coarse, thick, curly beard with hair growing in different directions. The closeness was quite acceptable, but of course not as good as a shave from my Braun 5-5030S-4 that I bought on Amazon in 2017 for $85 plus sales tax. This Pritech shaves closer to a Braun 3 series Pro-Skin model, but not quite as close and maybe with a slightly longer shaving time.The shave was comfortable with very little irritation or burning sensation. I used a bit of an alcohol-based pre-shave splash before this dry shave.The trimmer pops out and up with a firm press of a switch on the back, similar to the design you get with a Philips Norelco or most of its Chinese-brand competitors. Like most trimmers that come on most shavers, it is not very sharp, good only for light grooming touch ups at the edges of facial hair you want to keep--sideburns, mustache, etc.The shaver has a fairly high pitch noise and is louder than my larger Braun models, but I did not fine it annoying. Unlike with the Pritech RSM-1699, there is only one shaving speed and the description on Amazon does not give an RPM rating.As seems to be common with Pritech, there is no mention of any replacement cutting or foil elements, which is why I would down-rate it to 3-ish instead of 4.something.For $25.99 on Amazon, you can get the Yasun YS-5800 which has a similar design, and a slide up trimmer desing I like better, which is similar to the ones on some Older Braun models, such as the Flex Integral models and older. Also listed on Amazon is a set of replacement cutters and foil and center comb in the head frame for the Yasun shaver. It also gave me a faster and slightly closer shave than this Pritech RSM-1577 unit.I recently saw a listing for Pritech's rotary shaver on Amazon for around $25-ish dollars. The listing says it comes with one replacement head. In Pritech's review of that rotary model, they say the shaver should last about a year, but the included replacement head doubles that life expectancy.I think this company's foil shavers are too good to be throw-away units once the foils give out, and that they should definitely offer replacement cutters and foils for their shavers. If they would do that, I would not hesitate to recommend them, especially for the price, compared even to more expensive competitors such as the Braun series 3, and the newer Braun series 5 shavers.

I thought the shaver was great to start. Worked well. Trimmed my beard easily and cleanly. Then one day, a bit more than I month after I got it, the trimmer wouldn't open fully, just lifted a bit but wouldn't pop up. Tried to left it and it fell apart. It's got a tiny spring that pops out the trimmer, but it really inadequate for the press put on it. A real shame.

Great battery life. Shave's really close. I've been using it daily for 3 months. Replacement blades available from Pritechbeauty. A great shaver for $18!

It came 98% charged, right out of the box. I let my beard grow back, really thick and wild. I was facing a longtime journey to cut the long, grey and white coarse hairs, and a long time to remove the short hairs, afterwards. It would have taken well over an hour. This electric razor-trimmer got the job done in about 30 minutes with no irritation! I love this razor and highly recommend it! It's also easy to clean and quick to recharge. You can use the included accessories to sweep out hair dust, or slowly and lightly rinse it under the faucet in a few minutes, so it's quick to clean, doesn't get hair everywhere, and is easy to use right out of the box! New inner cutters and outer foil would cost over $20. This razor cost me $20.99. It costs less to just buy a new razor, the same 1!
