Lux libertatis, somnus mortuorum.
SNAP! The icy specter of death cracks his infernal whip again. CRACK! One of Zeus' cleansing thunderbolts ushers another winged bloodsucker into Tartarus. Snap! Snap! Each crackle is a death nell for your backyard tormentors. Doom! Doom! The funeral bell sounds with each electric sizzle. Final destruction for any bold enough to seek the purifying light within. Like the Levites opening the Ark of the Covenant before the wicked, mounds of dead lay in the wake of this tool of purification. Like thick hay before the scythe they are mowed down. Lifeless exoskeletons crash to the groud, still smoldering. Each crack of fiery blue thunder is Cerberus clacking his jaws together on another departed creature. SNAP! SNAP! DOOM! DOOM! They fall in uncountable numbers like drops of rain upon the mountain side. Abandon hope all who dare fly too close to the silvery glister of electric death. The night may belong to you, but summer is here and the backyard belongs to those with a will to defend it.

The Electric Sermon on the Mount of Bugs
Dateline: A Back Patio, Under the Looming Threat of a Summer Night. The night air should be a source of peace, a cool balm after a long, hot day. But it is not. It is a hunting ground. A thick, humming, whining soup of winged degenerates whose sole purpose in this world is to bite, sting, and generally torment the human race. You can swat, you can spray, but these are acts of desperation. To truly reclaim your territory, you need to set a trap. A brutal, high-voltage, electric chair for bugs.Enter the GOOTOP Bug Zapper. This is not some gentle, sticky trap or polite, scented candle. This is a black, caged instrument of pure, unadulterated electrocution. It is a lantern that promises not gentle light, but swift, crackling judgment. The setup is a thing of beautiful simplicity. You hang it, you plug it in. The deed is done. But here, in the modern age, we can add a layer of sophisticated, remote-controlled cruelty. I have mine wired into a Wyze smart plug, a tiny digital brain that has tethered this primitive death machine to my Alexa ecosystem. I can now sit back in my chair, a cold drink in my hand, and with a simple voice command—"Alexa, summon the lightning"—unleash the blue light of doom upon my backyard. And the light… it is a thing to behold. A hypnotic, otherworldly UV glow that flying insects find utterly, fatally irresistible. They are drawn to it like moths to a flame, a phrase that has never been more appropriate. They flutter in, lured by the promise of some strange, electric paradise. And then you hear it. The sound. The glorious, soul-satisfying CRACK-sizzle-POP!It is the sound of 4200 volts delivering an immediate and uncompromising verdict. A mosquito, a fly, a moth—one moment a whining nuisance, the next a tiny puff of incinerated vapor. It is a savage symphony of retribution, a constant, percussive reminder that your perimeter is secure. It is the perfect companion for a summer night, a brutal but effective guardian against the winged hordes. The value here is immense. For a modest sum, you get a powerful, effective killing machine. And the true genius? The bulb is a common, replaceable size. This isn't some disposable piece of junk destined for the landfill after one season. This instrument of death is built to last. This is more than a bug zapper. It's an essential tool for summer survival. It’s a highly effective, strangely satisfying, and ridiculously affordable way to take back the night. Highly recommended.

This thing does the JOB!
Can't speak for longevity, as I've only had this product for about 5 days. But this thing puts in WORK!I live in the central texas area, and the mosquitos this year are attrocious! We have been leaving this zapper on all night each day, and yo7 can hear the beautiful loud zaps of these pests getting fried! There is an easy cap to take off on bottom and it is full of fried mosquitos. I've noticed a drastic difference in the population in our back yard. Can't recommend it enough!

Works pretty good for me
This has worked pretty good for me. None of the reviews talked about termites so I wasn’t sure if it would work on termites but it does! It killed about 20 termites on the first day and then probably 30 more.I haven’t seen anymore flying or they just got smart and don’t show up in the same place.I know it’s a temporary fix, probably need to get my grandmas house tented soon but for now this has been a savior.I keep this near the sliding door to the backyard where it’s been a problem so kinda indoors which makes me a little nervous bc this looks like an out door equipment. So far working great but I only keep it on for 3 hours at a time bc I want to make sure the zapping of the bug doesn’t accidentally start a fire.I would buy this again

Powerful Zapper That Works!
I've purchased solar bug zappers and they failed to work well. I decided it's time to pull out the big guns and buy a 110v bug killer. It was a good idea!I installed this near my back deck. First night, this thing was sparking and zapping all sorts of bugs. It even killed a few junebugs! I had quite a load in the collection tray the next morning! Since I have a hot tub on the deck, I decided to move it to the garage. It's still zapping bugs all night. My only small gripe is the brush to clean it. The zapper bars are getting a dirty coating on them, and the brush isn't doing the best job. But it doesn't seem to be affecting the zap functionality. Happy camper here!

Durable and Effective – A Must-Have for Summer
Great product! I’ve been using this bug zapper for about a year now and it’s held up really well. Although it’s labeled for outdoor use, I’ve brought it inside during the summer when flies were getting in—and it worked perfectly. It’s very durable, and since I don’t have young kids around, bringing it indoors hasn’t been an issue. If you’re dealing with pesky flies coming in and out on hot summer days, I highly recommend this zapper. It does the job!
