PetArmor Plus: The Unsung Hero in Our Battle Against the Itchy Invasion!

As a devoted cat parent, I've always believed in providing my feline friend, Sir Whiskers McFluff, with the finest luxuries life has to offer. From gourmet tuna feasts to plush velvet cushions, he lives like royalty. However, there was one uninvited guest threatening our kingdom: fleas. Armed with PetArmor Plus Flea and Tick Prevention, we embarked on a mission to reclaim our throne (and our sanity). The Application Saga:Applying PetArmor Plus was a quest in itself. Picture this: Sir Whiskers, with eyes as wide as saucers, plotting his escape as I approached with the dreaded vial. But with a gentle stroke and a whisper of sweet nothings, I managed to apply the treatment without losing a finger. The Transformation Tale:Within hours, the transformation was evident. Sir Whiskers, once a relentless scratcher, now lounged like a king, his royal duties limited to demanding belly rubs and occasionally chasing his tail. The fleas? Vanished. The itching? A distant memory. And me? I was hailed as the hero of the realm, showered with purrs and the occasional headbutt of gratitude. The Grand Finale:Our home, once a battleground, is now a peaceful haven. Sir Whiskers reigns supreme, his subjects (me) at his beck and call. Thanks to PetArmor Plus, we've found our happily ever after, free from the tyranny of fleas.Pros:Effective Flea and Tick Control: Eliminates fleas and ticks swiftly, restoring your cat's comfort.Long-Lasting Protection: Provides continuous defense, reducing the need for frequent applications.Waterproof Formula: Remains effective even after your cat's adventures in the rain or a surprise bath.Final Verdict:PetArmor Plus has been a game-changer in our battle against fleas. It's easy to use, effective, and keeps Sir Whiskers happy and itch-free. Highly recommended for any cat owner facing the flea menace!

Good, but not quite as effective as time goes on.

Every flea treatment is hit or miss with cats, and people complain about the weirdest things, as if these spot on treatments are supposed to radiate some noxious "force" that keeps fleas away.Yes, you're going to see more scratching on the cat after putting this on it. The poison irritates and excites the fleas until they die. This also means 1) you MIGHT see a stronger presence of fleas because they're not expertly hiding deep in the fur or under the armpits or where they usually aren't seen at all, given that their systems are out of whack, and 2) the fleas become more aggressive and bite more, leading to more irritation on the pet.Not only that, but some felines are just flat out allergic to this stuff, and so you take a risk when you go buy things yourself instead of going to a vet. Finally, yes, this product may stop working--fleas build immunity to things just as any other living creature builds immunity to things. Life will always find a way, and this directly targets critical life stages of the flea. When fleas may lay QUITE a lot of eggs in its lifetime, even at 0.01% survival rate, that's more than enough for millions of fleas in a few weeks. You need to switch up your flea medication from time to time. There's a reason doctors will switch up your antibiotics if you have to take a bunch of those.Anyway, this stuff is pretty effective, but it loses 1 star because I'm not convinced yet that this actually fully penetrates the fatty layer in the cat and stays active for a whole month. It seems like after 2 weeks to 18 days or so, it's done. I know this because I've removed fleas at various days with a comb off my cat to see how effective these things tend to be over time. Within the first 2 weeks, all fleas I caught were just dead when I went go check on them later after getting them together. After 3 weeks (21 days), though, every flea was still perfectly fine. Also, my cat gets pretty itchy from irritation after I put it on her. HOWEVER, I ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AS MY CAT'S OWN PERSONAL SENSITIVITY TO IT. She's sensitive to ALL of the spot treatments because it's literally "the skin is absorbing and storing poison."I personally use this flea treatment program to kill fleas:1) Put on spot treatment2) Pop in a Capstar the same day, same time as spot treatment3) Spread food grade diatomaceous earth around the house. Sprinkle some so you get blotches all over the floor, then sweep it all in4) Spray down the baseboards with a house spray (about 3-4 bottles total to really saturate the base boards)5) Vacuum every 3 days, laundry same time (whatever I wear and whatever the cats have gotten on)6) Spray sofa and cat sleeping areas every 5 daysTakes 3 weeks of aggressive work, but they'll be gone before the month is over. I live in the Deep South in a poorly sealed trailer with a giant tree and a lake nearby; you bet I'm getting fleas every single spring and summer.

Do not use on cats with allergies!

I bought this product at my wit's end, after trying several over the counter drops and powders to rid my two cats of their fleas. They are both indoor cats, but somehow got fleas, being in South Florida, fleas must have snuck inside on my clothing at some point. I do not have carpet and minimal rugs around but somehow still have an infestation. My female cat has fleas but no flea allergy, but my male cat has bad flea dermatitis, and has sores on his coat, losing hair, etc. He cries and is miserable. I've tried hydrocortisone spray for cats, oatmeal baths, cheaper flea drops, flea powder. I bought this product thinking I'd be spending more money but would get something that would really help the problem. I'm love my cats but I'm on a budget like everyone, and was trying to save a few bucks. Bad idea!!! I wish I never bought it! It had ZERO effect on the fleas whatsoever, not only that, my male cat has a huge, open leathery sore on his throat a few days after applying this garbage! I have no idea how the sore got to his throat as I applied it to his scruff and shoulders as instructed but I am 100% positive it is from the Pet Armor. He's had no change of diet, no injury, just this giant lesion on him, only days after applying the Pet Armor. The fleas even flocked to his neck to feed on the blood and open wounds. Now I am reading all this crazy stuff about this medicine causing chemical burns. I now have to take him to a vet anyway, so I ended up losing $30 on top of all the money I will spend at the vet. DON'T waste your money on this!
