WORXWX550L 20V Power Share Axis Cordless Reciprocating & Jig Saw

I was searching everywhere for a tool that is NOT a mini chain saw to cut thick branches with. This is it. Not only does it cut branches it also reverts to a Jig Saw. The blades attach nice and secure. Worx's did it again. I have more worx's tools than needs to be mentioned. I do worx's big time. I already had the battery so the price was very reasonable. Love this tool. Thank you so much seller. The vibration is not as bad as other saws. I am 70 and have trouble holding things sometimes. This is not a problem.

I tried another reciprocating saw before this one and it didn’t stand up to what this one can do. This one really is the one that made my life easier. It works better than the Ego chainsaw that I bought. It saws through at least 5 inches of hard treee limbs. It made getting a tree stump out of the ground easier. It cuts through other material as well. The key is ensuring you have the right blades for the job.

I needed a saw that did more than one thing, which met my requirement. The reciprocating mode is small enough for tight spaces, and the jig-saw mode is super convenient. The included blades are a plus, but I'm not a fan of the charger; I prefer the drop-in style rather than the clip-on style.

I just bought another Worx product from Amazon and remembered that I hadn't left a review for this item which I bought six years ago. I had middling expectations, thinking it would come in handy for quick, light duty cutting jobs. And it is the perfect tool for those jobs. But I wouldn't have imagined how many times I have reached for this thing over the years, from making jigsaw cuts in the basement to building an arbor for our back yard or to cutting tree branches like it was a chain saw. You're not going to give it a steady diet of treated 2x4's or any 4x4's but for tons of jobs around the house, this is my go-to cutting tool. And I like that longer, heavy duty Sawzall blades fit in the blade holder to help this saw punch above its weight. This has been a super handy tool for me going on six years without a hiccup.
