SHIMANOSTI Lever Hoods

Ordered these replacement hoods for my Shimano ST-R8020 shifters. They did not fit, and so doing a swap to see if these could have been wrong item in the box (which is marked correctly). In my pictures I also include old hoods with new ones. It may be that they stretched out that much but these REALLY look to be different size.I will update this review after I receive the swapped version.EDIT: 8/11/23: Turns out the mistake in what I ordered was my fault. My LBS told me which to order and was incorrect. I did not realize there was a specific replacement for my ST- R8020 Ultegra shifters (NOT the R7000/R8000).

I did a search for ST-R8070 (Ultegra Di2) and Amazon sent me here and I didn't look close enough to see that they weren't the right model, so had to send them back. Also, FYI to others, I initially thought these were counterfeit because of the packaging (see picture) but looks like Shimano has shifted to more eco friendly packaging using paper instead of plastic.

The best time to replace these is when you're installing new brake/shift cables. Installing them with the shifters on the bike results in stretched out hood covers. I replaced ~5 year old covers with these and they're only slightly more snug than the worn out pair. Very disappointing.
