Shimano Cleats SPD-SL SM-SH10/SM-SH12 (Design: SM-SH11)

SPD cleats for my bicycle. I have used them for years, and they last forever. ✅

So I've had a pair of these original Shimano cleats (pictured on the left in my pictures, next to and removed from the shoes) that I've been wearing 2-3 times a week for the last 18 months, overall they must have covered about 2000+ road bike miles. They were getting quite worn, so I decided to replace them with this product with prime delivery.Product arrived with Prime on the Friday, I swapped them with my old cleats for a ride on Saturday. After a 40 Mile road ride, you can see the result of the new pair I bought (that are still attached on my shoes) after the single ride. In fact, they stopped clipping in properly about half way round the ride. The cleats are clearly completely müllered, they no longer clip in, and the yellow corners have broken off in a number of places and the edges used to clip into the pedals are badly worn. This is after 1 bike ride. You can see clearly though that the cleats are still marked as "Shimano".I thought I was buying these as a genuine Shimano product directly from Amazon store but unfortunately they're from a 3rd party seller. My fault for not noticing. I suspect these cleats are cheap copies marked as Shimano, they clearly don't have the quality of the original Shimano cleats they replaced. And because of the state of them, there's no way I'm going to be able to return for a refund.So in a nutshell- the original Shimano cleats are really good, these ones aren't and didn't last a full bike ride. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.Update: chatted to Amazon customer services about this product, they issued a refund with no quibble desire the condition of the product. Excellent customer service. Hopefully they will also address the product quality problem with the vendor as well.

I love Shimano products but I’m afraid I have to give these a 1 star. Last week I put these on my shoes to go on a ride, they were brand new on. Got back after my ride and both cleats on both shoes had completely snapped off. My previous Shimano cleats lasted 8 months to a year in which I had to replace them with these.

I ordered the yellow type as a replacement for my shimano originals that have lasted 3 years and 3600 Miles.Although advertised a ms a ‘genuine shimano replacement’ and an Amazon Prime product, the yellow float option comes from China, and is s cheap fake branded ‘Shenba’I haven’t tried them yet, but I suspect they will just about work but I won’t get another 3000 miles out of them.Beware if you think you are buying what’s described.

Great shimano workmanship. I use them mostly for cycling to work with. I have used these a couple of days each week for about three months now and they don’t show hardly any sign of wear. One trip I unfortunately slashed a tyre 4 miles from home and had to complete the long and lonely walk home, the cleats were comfortable and again did not show much sign of wear. I would highly recommend these. Don’t buy cheaper imitations, you get what you pay for, but these are a fantastic item and a reasonable price

after one ride like the 2 pairs of the cheap copies i got. one reordered by mistake, and returned , these are True Shimano cleats, are hard plastic and clip into pedals every time and you foot stays secure, easy to fit 3 bolts that actually tighten up without stripping the ghead of the bolts.Strangely since buying them the price has gone up quite a bit,
