First this is a BT converter - nothing more, not sure DAC is the right term for it thinking of DAC's in the audiophile world $$$. I thought being BT5.0 same as the source the sound quality would be good, unfortunately that is not the case and I compared it to Amazon Echo Dot Clock (3rd gen)...My setup: Source connected via BT to Amazon Echo Dot ->3.5 to RCA connected to my amplifiers, same with this box.Source playing FLAC 16 and 24 bit tracks.Echo Dot - sounded really crisp with all the heights in the right place and really good definition, punchy bass and fast response.192kHz Digital to Analog Converter Bluetooth 5.0 - sounded muffled, the highs were missing and no definition, bass was there but not punchy, everything was rounded regardless of volume or gain, it was 100% compression and digital processing kicking in and killing the quality.So if you are interested in quality of reproduction via BT this is not the right answer. Yeah I know BT is not the best and should be avoided if you can ... but by comparison an Echo 3rd gen does a better job.Don't get me wrong it might work on any average setup but if you are accustomed to music quality and know what to listen to you can tell right away that a lot of the original sound was lost.

Fácil de instalar y con buenos resultados, es muy pequeño y con buena construcción, para sacar el audio de Netflix se tiene que cambiar en el televisor la salida de audio a PCM.

La vdd es muy bien equipo para el precio ... muchos se quejan de que no es amplificador y efectivamente no es amplificador pra bocinas !!! Trae un amplificador para Audifonos bastante potente !!! Yo lo compre para unas bocinas portátiles que normalmente conectaba directas a mi iPhone 11 Pro por qué así sonaba bien ... ahora con este aparato tengo mucho más volumen Y tiene muy buen alcance de señal de Bluetooth, funciona muy bien el amplificador de audífonos ... tiene unos ligeros ruidos de señal pero eso solo pasa cuando tienes el volumen muy alto en el dispositivo y cambias de canción o cosas así, pero es mínimo la vdd estoy muy contento con la compra !! Por otro lado la salida RCA es de potencia regular nada sorprendente ya que el amplificador que trae interno es para los audifonos no para la salida rca !! Pero también muy bien !!!No he calado el dac pero imagino que debe de funcionar bien ya que al parecer todo en el dispositivo función de maravilla ...Lo único que si noté que les recomiendo es que el convertidor de 110v a 5v que usen que sea de buena capacidad como de 1 amper para arriba si no es que de 2 amperes ... ya que e primero que vale no dio la potencia y sonaba un poco viciado el sonido !! Me imaginé que era eso por qué a bajo volumen no lo hacía ... a la hora que cambie el convertidor funciono mucho mejor !! Después voy a hacer la prueba con otro a ver qué tal ... ahorita el que uso es de 1 amper si no me falla... y funciono muy bien !!Les aclaro que no por qué tenga ese volumen quiere decir que su sonido va a sonar mejor .. simplemente como en mi caso mi bocina requiere de más voltaje para que de su 100% por eso buscaba algo con amplificador de audífonos ... si en su sonido cuando lo compren cuando le suban se satura quiere decir que no acepta tanto voltaje de señal y se satura !! Por eso se usa solo el rca en esos casos ... ósea que es muy versátil !! Encantado con el aparato !!

Happy with the purchase!Updated review for this product, happy at first for the first couple of months that's why I gave it 5 Star but unfortunately it stops working just few days ago.. still connects via bluetooth (main reason why I bought this DAC) but now there's no sound output .... just disappointing....

I have been an audio nut for over 40 years. I hate using the word “audiophile,” because all the word means, is that one pursues better sound. Well, better sound comes in all different shapes, sizes and price points. If you research carefully, you can find a diamond without breaking the bank. It also helps having friends in the sound engineering business to point you in the right direction. Haha! I see some bad reviews about sound quality, which surprises me. I have to wonder about set-up and user error? To make a long story short, this is the best 40 plus bucks I have spent in a long time. Very satisfied.
