Easy to program and works great!

I was looking to design one of these myself, but luckily I stumbled upon this product. I hope that it lasts a long time. There is not much to go wrong except for connector jacks and relay contacts.Features that I really like- Supports up to 8 effect pedals (send/return jacks)- Jack spacing supports pancake style connectors except for the inout/output jacks on the ends. Good job!- Relays (latching) are used to route the signal instead of solid state switches (offering lower signal path resistance)- A simple microcontroller runs the unit with non-volatile memory, so configurations are stored even when power goes out.- Easy to program and holds 4 channels x 8 banks (32 total) configurations making it very useful for even complex setups- Very sturdy and heavy chassis for agressive stompers.- Excellent value for the amount of features and build quality

This unit is extremely easy to program. There is no latency, clicking or sound cutting out when switching between patches. I don’t notice and sound coloration due to the unit. It’s got some weight to it and feels solid.Only quirk is that if you select the same patch twice it bypasses all your pedals. This may be useful for some folks, but not my thing.The only questionable aspect is that all the 1/4” connectors appear to be soldered to the circuit board, they’re not screwed to the cassis. This makes them more prone to failure.I plan to mount this and my pedals to a Voodoo Lab Dingbat Small EX pedalboard as 18” x 10” is perfect to have 5 pedals above the unit. A Pedaltrain Metro would probably work well too for this switcher and pedals.

Easy to program, easy to use on stage. I bought this because I was tired of tap dancing on my pedals between songs and sometimes needed to switch 3 or 4 pedals at one time with no time between songs. This does that great.Where it isn't so great is when you are trying to audition pedals or figure out what combo of pedals you need OR if you want a different effect order.But for the price you get a sturdy unit and you can create a patch that has all the pedals on and you can use their normal switches to dial in tones.. so it is not that big a loss

Has been on my board in use for 2 years now with no problems at all. I have tons of expensive gear, but no midi stuff I need to use, so I chose this. Easy to set up and program. Once you make your first channel, you have it. Great product.

It takes a while to get all the pedals, pedalboard, cables, and electrical to put a guitar pedalboard together. I also ordered this JOYO PXL8 Foot Pedal Controller 8 FX Loop Programmable Pedal Switcher to avoid tap dancing on my pedalboard and to use pedals in various combinations.I finally got around to installing and programming the Joyo pedal switcher only to find that the third input jack doesn't firmly hold the pedal cable and basically making that particular pedal useless since there is not a working electrical connection! This is very disappointing since Joyo has a good reputation and you would expect that quality control checks this kind of thing before shipping but apparently not. It is also EXTREMELY NOISY!! There is a loud and terrible POP on foot switches B and C. It sounds like the guitar cord is being pulled out of the jack. This pedal design will work better with soft switches!!Luckily, Amazon and Joyo agreed to a return/refund and Joyo even reached out to try and make the situation right! In today's world, companies rarely reach out to try and make a situation right. Unfortunately, I had already taken the pedal board apart, boxed the PXL8, and prepared it for return shipping.However, I still have my Joyo Wah-II Classic and Multifunctional WAH Pedal, a Joyo Avallon R19, a Joyo Classic Flanger, a Joyo Extreme Metal pedal, and a Joyo Atmosphere pedal. Joyo overall makes quality products! This one just didn't happen to work out for me. That happens sometimes....

Needed a simple loop switcher and decided to try this inexpensive option. Super easy to program and more than adequate for my needs.
