Great Little pH Meter!
For anyone with hobbies that depend on the pH of something, this little digital pH pen is a fantastic tool to have in your toolbox. It takes all the guesswork out of the process. I use it to keep the water in our fish tank just right, and it’s super easy to use. One thing I really like is that it also measures the temperature at the same time as the pH, ensuring my heater/thermometer is working as expected. It comes with calibration powders so that you know your readings are really accurate. This meter is exactly what I was looking for: simple, effective, and I highly recommend.

Works perfect for well water and hot tub!
Purchased this PH meter to see how it would work with my well water but more importantly the hot tub water to determine how it works for adding Ph increase or decrease chemical to it to keep it its in best neutral state. It worked very well and compared almost exactly as the litmus paper that comes with the hot tub. It also helps me feel comfortable about our drinking water. Also the test powder to verify the device also was easy to use. Would recommend this device.

Difficult to calibrate, don't trust results
I honestly believe that most of the good reviews of this dud only THINK that it is working because they're not testing its accuracy. Total junk. I'd give it 2 stars if it worked AT ALL, but I can't. First of all, the instructions are very badly translated from Chinese and are confusing at best. And then, when attempting to calibrate (says pre-calibrated, but no way I'm I going to trust that from a cheap Chinese factory), the unit kept grabbing 6.86 while attempting to set the high point in the 9.18 solution. Because this cheapo unit only comes with ONE set of calibration buffer salts, and I wasn't sure if the issue was with the 9.18 salt packet, I then made my own stock solution that was slightly more alkaline than 9.18. When I attempted to calibrate in that, this piece of junk still kept trying to set at 6.86. Needless to say, I'm returning this thing. Shame on me for relying on a cheap Chinese junk factory to manufacture a precision piece of equipment. I hope you don't make the same mistake!

Accurate and Easy to Use
This digital pH meter is incredibly useful and accurate! I’ve used it for testing water in my aquarium, pool, and even household drinking water, and it delivers fast, consistent readings every time. The 0.01 accuracy really gives peace of mind, and the LCD display is clear and easy to read. It also comes with 3 calibration powders, which makes setup simple even if you’re not super technical. This product contributes to the environment and really good quality. Plus, the compact, pocket-size design is a bonus for easy storage and portability. I definitely recommend this to everyone who needs reliable pH testing at home!

Works okay
It worked for 10 months of very little use. Then needed to change battery. The readings appeared to be pretty close to accurate (sometimes reading fluctuate, not too far apart) it may need to calibrate. So far it’s a pretty good tool.

Solid tester
I have been using the meter for about a week. I like the accuracy and the length of time to take the reading.I have not noticed the erratic readings that some reviews stated... maybe poor batteries or needing calibration? It only takes about 15-30 seconds to receive an accurate reading, not 1-2 minutes as stated by some reviews... maybe a defective unit?In short, if your unit is not behaving correctly, change batteries, calibrate, and if still no improvement contact Amazon for a replacement. It works well.

pH values fluctuate for a long time
I bought this digital pH meter to replace my old bromothymol blue drops for testing the pH in my aquarium. But, the pH value of this tester jumps around wildly, such as from 6.55 to 7.11 or more. The value VERY GRADUALLY stabilizes but takes about 3 minutes or more, which is a long time to wait. The bromothymol blue testing would actually have be quicker. While waiting, the display backlight goes out forcing me to press the Hold button twice to get it back on. The digital tester pH value changes about 4 times a second, which makes it difficult to read since it varies all the time and never settles on a single value. (I see why they added a "Hold" button). After "stabilizing", the value still jumps around, such as from 6.87 to 6.94.Also, the temperature seems off by 2 degrees. This digital meter shows temperature of 75.9 F, whereas my glass thermometer shows 78. And my crude adhesive strip thermometer shows 78-80 (closer to 78). Luckily I don't need this device for temperature, only pH.On a positive note, I have seen the tester displays pH values down to 4. Whereas the bromothymol blue testing only indicates pH values from 6.2 to 7.4. The digital tester also has a nice display with a green backlight.I have been using this digital pH tester for about a year. Waiting for the pH value to stabilize is very annoying, but I appreciate the wide range of pH values it can measure.Following are some suggestions for the company and their engineers:1) Please use a running average to smooth out the pH value the device displays. There's no use in seeing a value immediately change from 6.55 to 7.11. I would prefer that it displays a slowly changing pH value, blink the value while it is changing and has not stabilized, and then stop the blinking when the value stabilizes to about 0.1 pH.2) I do not see any use in displaying pH values down to 0.01 pH. This tester never stabilizes to an accuracy of 0.01 so what's the point of displaying it. I would be happy to see a pH accuracy of 0.1 as long as it stabilizes quickly.3) Please make the green backlight stay on continuously.4) Do not change the pH values 4 times a second, at that rate it is difficult to read any one value. One or two changes per second would be sufficient.5) Improve the accuracy of the temperature. By displaying temperature down to 0.1 F you are implying that is also the accuracy. But in my experience the accuracy isn't even 1 degree.
