I like this product because I play music on my iPhone constantly but the jack for my speakers is a normal male jack which is no compatible with the iPhone. This adaptor makes it compatible and I did not have to purchase special speakers

This is a confusingly poorly made adapter - the connection is weak and the actual part where the headphone jack connects with it seems to be made for a smaller plug, so the fit isn't snug and it constantly accidentally disconnects, even though the description gives every indication that it is just a standard adapter. Regardless, it stopped working after a day and I am returning the whole pack. I recently got a pack with similar issues, same kind of oddly stiff cord and poor connection, very short life, and this seems to have come from the same manufacturer. I've had good luck with off-brand adapters in the past, but I'm switching back to the actual Apple product to avoid dealing with this issue in the future.

These were exactly what we needed to play my husband’s IPad through a record player .They arrived as stated. We would definitely order from this dealer again.

It does what it needs to do but if you are trying to call someone, for some reason the audio in the earpods doesn’t go through. i will be listening to music with the extension and my earpods will work but the second someone calls me, it disconnects or something and the audio is played for people to hear even if the extension is still plugged into the phone

I bought these a few days ago and they actually arrived really quickly to my surprise. I plugged them in to my phone and everything seemed fine, the sound quality was as good as the original apple adapter. A day later, the right ear on my headphones started cutting in and out and stopped working all together. I thought it might be the headphones, but they are of high quality and I also tried another pair and the same problem persisted. I also tried plugging the adapter into a new phone and the same problem kept happening. I then thought to myself, "hey I have two more adapters, maybe it was just a faulty one". I swear an hour went by and the second one broke and the same ear as well wasn't working. I then switched to the last adapter which actually worked for the rest of the day and into the next, but then, the audio started cutting in and out of the right ear, and when I bent the adapter, the sound cut in and out, so I think there are some wiring issues in the thing. In total, these adapters lasted me 4 days. Don't buy these!
