I've purchased Meridol toothpaste on Amazon marketplace twice before, seeking the vital ingredient Oraflur, which contains amine fluoride, the most effective and long-lasting type of fluoride, largely unavailable in North America. I had to return both purchases when the ingredients list did not contain Oraflur as advertised on the sale page. Amazon needs to work harder to insure quality and fair practices.Finally, the third time proved the charm! I got precisely what I ordered.I will not use this expensive product as simple toothpaste. Instead, I will mix single doses in a little distilled water to use as a finishing mouth rinse. Left on tooth and gum surfaces for up to an hour prior to any food or drink, it can protect and even rebuild enamel while killing harmful oral bacteria.I very occasionally find Meridol rinse with Olaflur for sale on Amazon, but if I can't locate any this tube will serve as the necessary alternative.
