BETTER THAN A MUSIC STAND!

The EasyAdjust Cymbal Microphone Stand is a great choice if you’re singing lyrics or following chords during Sunday worship. It holds tablets and and maybe even larger phones securely, so you don’t have to worry about your device slipping or falling over mid-song. Its adjustability is a real plus, making it easy to find the perfect angle for a clear view. While it might seem a bit bulky, it's actually a space saver compared to a traditional music stand. Plus, since it uses the microphone stand’s feet, it doesn’t have additional feet of its own, freeing up space. So, while it may take up a bit more room, it's still more compact and convenient than many other options. Enjoy!

Good solid performer

I like it. It feels a little flimsy at first, but if you clamp it using their method it is just sturdy enough (click click click). It will fall off if you clip it to the thick part of the mic stand, I know this from experience. It must be used on the thinner part. The ball adjuster is a little confusing to figure out, but it will handle any orientation and angle once you figure out the notch. It is nice and light for the gig bag and I like the style better than the X ones. A bit more discrete. I combined it with an iPad cover that is solid black at the two together make a nice clean look.

Sturdy and Versatile

Update: I've been using this unit for over a year now. I've found a surprising number of uses for it, not just for tablets, but for Bluetooth keyboards, audio interfaces, DI boxes, etc. I have several of them. Only one of them has cracked (and is now held together by copious amounts of black duct tape). The others have held up fine. They're still limited in that they only really fit on skinny poles, and then only vertically. But they're reasonably priced and work fine in most circumstances.Recently I've noticed a slight crack in the plastic that holds the ball joint, and my iPad tends to droop a bit. It's not unusable, but it's rather irritating. This is after a year of moderate use. It doesn't change my opinion of the unit much. It's still a good tablet holder for the price, with a variety of uses. I will probably order more, and try to fix the one I have with a little tape or something. All other criticisms and praises still apply.- - -This tablet holder is expressly designed to fit on the skinny (1/2") upper section of a boom or extendable mic stand. It will not fit on anything larger, and it will not work horizontally. This is a one trick pony with limited application. That said, if you need a tablet holder for stage use, this may fit the bill.Fitted as described, it works well. The unit is all plastic, but feels reasonably sturdy. The holder is adjustable for tablets 7" to 12". It holds my iPad Air securely, even while in its folio case. The angle is adjustable. I tried attaching it to a boom mic in several positions, both portrait and landscape, and it was able to accommodate my needs in each case. The clamp works fine when used as intended. It is, however, all plastic. It seems like it could break if over-tightened, jarred, misused. My experience tells me it may weaken over time, but that remains to be seen. There are sturdier, more versatile holders available (see below). But for the specific task of attaching a tablet to a mic stand, this unit works rather well and costs a bit less.I have other tablet holders I use regularly. I use one from ChargerCity (link below) to attach my iPad to my keyboard rig. I also use a heavy one with a gooseneck in my home studio (also linked below). They each have their strengths and weaknesses, and each one fits a particular niche. I was looking for another holder to take with me to gigs and rehearsals where I don't have my keyboard rig (I also play sax and sing). I believe this holder may be a good solution, as long as it holds up. I'll write an update should anything change. Here are other similar products I use:ChargerCity Music Mic Microphone Stand Tablet Mount with 360° Swivel Adjust Holder for Apple iPad Pro Air Mini Google Nexus Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 8 10 12 Surface Pro/Book (iPad & Stand is not included)BESTEK 2-IN-1 Full-motion Steel Mount with 360 Degree Adjustable Arm for Apple iPad Air, iPad Mini 2/3, iPad 2 3 4 and other 5.5-12 inch Tablets

Light weight but extremely sturdy & well made.

This is a remarkable product. Yes it is made of plastic except for a few small metals screws, but the plastic is very high quality & I believe with a little care & attention will not break easily. The only tiny flaw, which has been pointed out in other reviews, is that the clamp could have been lined with rubber for a better grip of the mic stand. But to prevent any slippage especially when using a heavier tablet, is to simply wrap some black electrical tape around the mic stand underneath the clamp. This tiny flaw does not warrant taking a star from my review because this product is terrific.

Not a Pro Stand-Too Light Weight

It is extremely light weight and flimsy. For my iPad 9.7 it was very difficult to get either the clamp or the adjustable 360 degree mount tight enough to hold the iPad stationary. In fact the clamp had to be so tight that it was starting to flex and I feared I would strip out the plastic knob . I suppose if your iPad didn't have a case it might be OK but if you're rocking any kind of case, pick something else. I would never use this on a gig, or even when I play in Church. Love the clamp though, holding my Otterboxed iPad very securely and I will keep the mount. I will be using it at home, on a mic stand, and resting on the adjustment knob of the mic stand so it doesn't slip. It will be handy when sitting down at the laptop, and working through a tutorial on the iPad for Ableton or something else. Might try some channel locks to get the rotary knob a little tighter.

WOW! It works!!

I bought a different brand which I will be reviewing shortly and found my iPad on the floor after a couple of hours on the stand. NOT THIS ONE!! My friend had this one, ( when I opened the box, I noticed his is identical). All I can say is get this one. I left my iPad in the stand over night and it was still there. I plan on using it just for gigs that are 3-4 hours long and now know I don't need to worry about it falling to the ground and potentially breaking. So, yea! This is the one to get. Cheap and it WORKS!!
