This product is fantastic, and I don’t have anything negative to say.I do handyman work, and bought this to hang a large piece of art in a stairwell.Super sturdy, didn’t wobble once.Easy assembly.I used this on hardwood stairs, so I don’t know how well it works in carpeted stairs, but with its weight and design, I’m guessing it’d work just fine.

Worked as intended. The item arrived a little bent, but it was easy to bend it back into shape.

Needed to hang a curtain rod on a window that was within our basement stairwell. After considering renting scaffolding or making a makeshift platform using two ladders and a 2x10 (which we did once) I decided to order the Ladder Aid SLM.This felt more secure than the 2x10 job and is simple to put together just be sure the SLM will fit your ladder.Definitely recommend this.

This ladder aide solved the problem of being able to reach walls and ceilings over a very steep stairwell, of which I installed insulation, shiplap walls, and tongue and groove ceiling boards. Reviewed many possible solutions in terms of “staging” for the task, but this device was the perfect solution. It is well made, very sturdy, and was used with an aluminum extension ladder. A nice gadget to have if you do your own home renovations. On a side note, it felt even safer with the use of a ladder stabilizer on the top of the ladder which helps to brace oneself when on the ladder/stairs

Product had clearly been repackaged. Part of the main step is bent. See photo. Not exactly what you want when standing on a ladder.

This is fantastic! We had a burnt-out light in the staircase of a commercial building. Despite the ladder being quite stable, I had someone hold it for extra safety. It's incredibly simple to assemble and disassemble, making storage a breeze.
