This is an excellent replacement for the solar remote that now comes with Samsung smart tvs. This little remote works straight out of the box, no pairing needed, and is easy to use. The buttons you need to navigate your tv are right at your finger tips and makes it more convenient and easy to access all the features on your smart tv. The solar remote is clunky and not user friendly and this button controlled remote has made my tv viewing experience much easier. All the buttons on the remote work and perform well. It functions well and I've had zero problems with it. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't like fooling around with the new solar remotes that come with some brands of tvs. This remote provides the functionality and user friendly interface that many of us prefer. It was a great purchase for me and I'm happy with it.

There was no setup, I just put in the batteries and it controls the TV right out of the box. I bought it because of the number buttons. The factory remote didn't have them and you had to use a tiny button to scroll until you found the channel you wanted. This is great. Just put in the channel number and it switches very quickly. The only thing I really had to do was to assign the setup menu my Cable box and DVD player. I can now turn them on also with just one button. Great price but the price varies from store to store and website to website. shop around.

power button stopped working on my old Samsung LCD TV. this remote worked perfectly out of the box. just put the batteries in and boom - it's a new remote.

I ordered this remote as a replacement for the one I lost for my Samsung Smart TV. It connected with no problems whatsoever, and it works with all the Samsung TVs I have throughout my house. I appreciate the shortcut buttons available, and the price wasn’t too bad either. There is one issue I have, and that’s that some of the buttons, especially the enter button, are hard to press. You have to smash the button all the way down just to get it to work, and even then, I usually end up having to press it multiple times. Overall, I would say it’s a pretty decent, fairly priced replacement remote if you’re like me and lose everything.

Very glad i bought this remote to replace the other samsung tv remote i had before. Works a million times better and haven't had any issues with this one.

I suspect my neighbor got the first one I ordered because I didn't, but I got a Delivered notice showing someone had signed for it. I work days, my neighbor doesn't so they got it and God forbid they bring it to me. They obviously kept it and I had to order another one. It's not very good. You have to press the buttons multiple times to get them to work. Sometimes I have had to press the off button ten or more times to get it to work. I'm going to order a different one and hope it works better.

Good price. Works well connecting to turn the TV on and going through the programs. It just doesn’t shut the TV off no matter what I try.
