Cable works as intended. Haven't seen any issues with charging my device using it.

This cable has been useful for me. I am able to charge my 3Ds with a battery pack and with any charging brick. Great to not need to plug in the charger the device came with.

Kinda hard to screw up this product, a simple USB charging cable. Much better than the original as far as I am concerned. I was concerned at first because I figured that the 3DS would need specific charging voltage so plugging in just a random USB converter could cause problems but it seems the 3DS was designed with a product like this in mind and has a power management chip allowing it to charge off different voltages.For people wondering if you can use your switch dock USB with this, the answer is yes. I used my switch dock to charge my 3DS with this cable.

(This review was written by my 20 year old son)I don't mean to sound cliché or anything, but I'm genuinely surprised I didn't think of buying this anytime sooner! We live in a day and age where carrying a portable battery to keep our mobile devices is the norm and it befuddles me as to why Nintendo never came out with one for the 3DS during its lifespan. Thankfully enough however, this cable changes everything! Not only can I plug it into a regular charging box, but it plugs in perfectly with my portable charger that I use for my Apple smartphone and even my own PC!!!Maybe I shouldn't be too excited over a simple cable that cost me less than eight bucks, but I can't help it! I was really sick of the regular cheap feeling charger Nintendo made for the devices, not to mention that the only one I had that worked was...barely breathing, to say the least. With this new cable, however, I am able to charge it literally anywhere! In short, I strongly recommend buying this cable as it provides you with more opportunities to charge your 3DS. Would recommend! :^)

Its honestly great that its compact and a decent length, its just that im finding the usb connector to be really loose and will unplug with the slightest movement.
