Due to health concerns I needed to let go of my beloved coffee. I looked for alternatives that wouldn’t cause any problems like caffeine and stumbled across this and I am so happy I did. This drink is absolutely delicious. It is reminiscent of coffee without the bitterness. I will continue to purchase from this brand. So happy to have something that I can enjoy as much as I did my caffeinated coffee. I like decaf but this is so much better in my opinion and beneficial to my health.

I bought this because I have been having IBS issues and heard that it could be good for the gut and also a good coffee replacement, which is something I wanted. I only tried the French Roast before I found out that it naturally has inulin, which is a high FODMAP sweetener not allowed on my diet. But I liked the flavor. Its was nowhere near as full bodied as coffee, but did have a hint of coffee, more like a rustic tea. I could have kept using it except for the gut pain. My husband has taken over my stash, adding it to his decaf and he likes it, no matter the flavor.

I love coffee! I’d drink it all day if I could. Unfortunately, I am very sensitive to caffeine and even a little makes me feel jittery, anxious, and nauseous. Even decaf is too much for me. As a result, I’ve looked high and low for a coffee substitute that I could drink as much as want without the ill effects. Teeccino seemed to be the answer to my problems. It does indeed look and taste like coffee. Not great coffee, but good enough. It tastes like your average canned stuff from the grocery store, which is fine. I’m not a coffee snob. It also doesn’t have that wonderful coffee smell that greets your nose as you open the bag, but I can let that go too. If my only goal were to have a nice cup of coffee without caffeine, this would have knocked it out of the park. Except for one thing. There’s something in it that feels like a stimulant. It gave me that same headachey, jittery feeling that real coffee does. Not to the same degree, fortunately. It’s very slight, but it’s still there, enough that I can’t just sit down and enjoy it, which is disappointing because otherwise I’d have been perfectly happy with it..Their website says there’s no caffeine in their product and I think thats true. It doesn’t feel quite like caffeine and I doubt they intend it to be there. It’s probably a property of one the of the plants they use. They say they know about the effect as they acknowledge some customers report “having energy” after they drink it. They try to explain it away with some pseudoscience nonsense about the “bioavailablity” of nutrients, but having ADHD and being on and off stimulant medication most of my adult life, it’s a familiar sensation. If you’re going to market a product as all-natural and caffeine-free, it’s a pretty simple matter of sending a sample to a lab to find out what compounds are actually in it and adjusting your recipe accordingly.Bottom line: Pretty good taste, and very close to coffee, but due to the stimulating effect my search for a coffee substitute continues.

I love this coffee substitute because I get the cafine jitters. Tastes fantastic and I'm able to use with creamer. I don't miss coffee at all.

The chicory "coffee" is great. The flavors are good and I will be purchasing more as I'm giving up coffee because I have anemia. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of how little you get in each pack. It says it makes 6 cups. I don't see how that's true. It's like a hotel coffee maker packet amount. Maybe enough for 2 cups, three of you're lucky and like it really watered down. I usually brew bustelo in a cafetera, and I read this can be made the same way you would make espresso. The joke is that this packet (that is supposed to have 6 cups worth) doesn't even get it halfway full. So that even adding a bunch of milk (I usually make a cappuccino every morning) I can't even get 3 servings out of it. For almost $15 this is very disappointing.I also bought the 11oz vanilla nut package from Walmart for about the same price as this variety pack. It's still a lot more pricey than bustelo, but I get it - healthy alternatives are always more pricey.This set however is not worth the money in my opinion. There's no way it makes 6 cups. Disappointed.

I love a warm drink after dinner, but coffee keeps me up. I tried tea but it doesn’t have the texture I grave. This drink is wonderful! My mother and I drink it every night after dinner. It has become a family ritual. I can’t wait to try more flavors!

Teechino Makes an excellent product. Go on their website and check out all of their choices. I buy the larger packages and brew them like coffee. On Amazon there is a coffee cup with a sieve and lid. It makes a great gift. There are mushroom varieties if you are interested in brain health. Also types of herbal supplements.
