Standard product in European drug formulary
As a nurse, I do quite a bit of research on any medication before I purchase it for my family. After a bout of illness that left me feeling like I was drowning in my lungs (pneumonia), and with no health insurance at the time, I discovered this product was on the European drug formulary as a standard issue for cough ailments - which means when you go to the doctor there, they issue it like we might issue/suggest Robitussin, etc. Within an hour, my right lung literally "popped" open and with taking it every 4 hours, by day 2, my lungs and cough were 80% better. I very quickly completely healed from this without any noticeable lung injury afterward. One of the VERY FEW medicinal items I keep stocked for my family/friends to use. It tastes a bit like highly diluted, sweet Pine-Sol - not necessarily appealing. We also have the pill form; however, it is not nearly as efficient/effective. Although I have many friends who have experienced much benefit with this particular brand, as always in medicine, there are a couple people with similar colds/cough who had no response. This certainly will not cure a viral cold or pneumonia; however, for many people, it will clear their lungs/secretions enough to get a good night's sleep, which also helps in the healing process :) One of the best "finds" I've discovered in home remedy products versus prescribed medicines.

I SWEAR by this remedy
My son woke up in the middle of the night with what I later Googled to be Croup cough. This was during the hyped up whooping cough outbreak and like any mother I was in a complete panic. I had never heard of Croup. It was maybe 2 am so I went online right away to compare the cough to whooping cough and thankfully that wasn't it but WHAT it did sound exactly like was Croup. I looked up what Croup was and how to treat it which is when I found the Ivy Leaf remedy. I ordered through 1 day shipping on Amazon and it was here the following day.We did a steam treatment immediately, for comfort that night.NOW, when the Ivy Leaf got here I gave it to my son and I kid you not - he was better with that one dose!!! I continued him on the liquid for the next 2 days but it really wasn't necessary. The cough subsided & he was back to running a muck. I now turn to ONLY this brand Ivy Leaf whenever there's a cough in my house and it works the same way every time. I bought 2 bottles this time because we seem to run out at inconvenient times! I tried a little just to see what it tasted like and it reminded me of the Vick's 44 my dad used to give me when I had a cough. I can say with conviction -THIS IS WHAT VICK'S IS 'TRYING' TO BE so skip the red dye, extra sugar and the days/ hours of doses and get straight to the point with the real deal!

Immediately curbs the urge to cough
This product is amazing for me. English ivy leaf is a miracle! Bodies react differently to different products so you have to try it for yourself but for me it immediately reduces the inflammation in my chest and I no longer have the urge to cough. I've never found anything else like it. coughing can take on a life of its own and get in the way of healing and this product interrupts that problem. It is sweet but it's not syrupy and I don't get sick of taking it like many of the honey based remedies or the over-the-counter cough syrups. Does not contain alcohol so it's good for kids. I've tried other natural remedies that contain English ivy leaf and they are helpful but this is the best by far. Keep some on hand because you can't just run out and find this product. I learned the hard way with a chest cold recently. very disappointed to learn Whole Foods stop carrying it. That's a real shame because this product really makes a difference. Thank you enzymatic therapy!

I Love this!
I have had "allergies " and bronchial irritation and inflammation for years. I'd have to take allergy pills as soon as I woke up because I'd be choking on thick phlegm from my nose, throat, sinus area. This has Finally opened my airways to be able to breathe through my nose, chest without being blocked somewhere. I take the 2 tsp, either 1/2 or 1 allergy pills and use my face steamer with essential oils , and drink ACV with a sprinkle of cayenne, turmeric, black pepper, garlic salt, cinnamon, lemon juice in warm water. I also use a cough drop to help loosen things and further open up my airways. I can finally sleep and eat without choking on quickly building up mucus. I've never heard of it before, and researched the reviews. I'm working on not needing the allergy meds

Not as good as what I find in health food stores
Be aware it’s a small container. I don’t know how well it works because I’m still coughing & sick after taking it all. The taste is fine. I think a larger size bottle would have been better. 4 ounces is not enough; 8 ounces would have been better.

Great for my asthmatic kid
At the first sign of a cough, I give my daughter about 1/2 tsp of the bronchial soothe. The dosage for her age is actually 1 tsp. I've found that 1/2 tsp for her is enough. By the next day the cough has gone away. We discovered that with my daughter that if we caught her cough early enough, it didn't have a chance to develop into something more serious. Bronchial soothe has been a great solution to stopping the cough before it has a chance to become something requiring stronger prescription medicine. The bronchial soothe did not work when my daughter had allergies and was coughing due to the hay fever. The taste and smell are not great, but my daughter is willing to take it anyways bc she knows it takes the cough away and bc the dosage is so little. I give it to her in a syringe so she doesn't have to smell it before she has it.
