I didn’t have to replace the television
As other reviewers have said, it is necessary to push the buttons more firmly. The worst thing is that the beam is extremely narrow, and it must be aimed exactly at the sensor on the TV.

TV immediately responded! Completely delighted
Works perfectly, automatically was recognized by the tv…nothing needed except two AA (or maybe AAA - whichever is the smaller ones) batteries.
