Initially, I experienced an issue where the camera would turn off automatically after about three minutes of use. Bought this on impulse but also as a safety camera for when I am out at night or indeed on any walk in isolated areas. Okay, it's not the ultimate in sophistication or technology but it actually does a solid job of recording what's ahead of you should evidence be required. It worked well in every way actually and you do have to spend some time to familiarise yourself with the operating instructions as it's not that user friendly but once learnt, it's a diddle to set up. My only immediate criticism is that it doesn't have much of a vertical field of view and I was finding that most footage showed lower down only , cutting off peoples faces entirely. This, of course, is entirely due to the angle that you attach it at and mine was clipped over where my coat zip and otherwise there is no adjustment in this manner of use. I really wanted it to be discrete in use and that's why I wore it there but I believe you can buy a mounting to attach to the clothing that may resolve this problem. Otherwise just experiment with the way you wear if and find a suitable 'optimal' fixing for a better outlook. Having said all that, a nice little unit at a great price point.

After being followed and approached by a weirdo on dog walks I wanted to get a low cost but effective camera for security/deterrence/evidence to give me the confidence to continue having the freedom to walk wherever and whenever I want. I'm very happy with this, had it a week now and used every day. Not seen the weirdo at all since getting it so am feeling a little silly. Never-the-less as I had to get the police involved and I felt silly as describing to them what happened I still feel this camera would reduce my feelings of sillyness if I have video evidence of uncool behaviour. Better silly than sorry. I used the Shortcut app on my iPhone to press siri and give the command Take Video to make my phone instantly start video recording but that just made me feel nervous that he could rip the phone out of my hand, or that getting my phone out of my bag would mean I'd have no hands to defend myself if needed (non-aggressive dog in other hand). So this is a godsend. Read the instructions, I got the option WITH tf card, or whatever it's called. I had no experience of using sd or tf cards but it's simple. Press the buttons in exactly the way it tells you and you will start the video, and if you want to you will press another button to hide the blue flashing light that draws attention to the video being in use. This is what I do. It's worked every day, except a day where I thought 'I don't think I've pressed the right button' and I was right, I hadn't. So if you need to double check if you've done it right, do so, it's easy, just don't be so impatient all the bloody time!! This could be important if you're considering getting this for similar reasons. Enjoy peace of mind Boblov 007 lol. Stay safe x

Quality of video and everything very good. Submitted a request to help sort the time date stamp function and had a speedy reply. Unfortunately the suggested fix did not work and have emailed for further help. If i can sort the time stamp issue it would be 5 stars.

Don't buy. Falls to bits. Put cable into charge it and port pushed in. Opened it up. No solder holding it in place. Won't charge up now. Picture is terrable if you move camera. Does not work now as I lost the port as I do not have a soldering iron. Bad finishing inside. I do not recommend.

Works perfectly as described. Good quality for price.

Update: the power button broke on mine (see photo) after using it a couple dozen times over 15 months.Used as a body cam and will use it as a bike cam, and the audio/video quality and battery life are just about good enough. The mount appears to have the same screw size as a standard camera has. I have just tested it with a basic cheap camera tripod and it appears to fit perfectly - see photos. So if you want to attach it to a bike, any clip for a camera should work, I think it's "1/4-20 UNC threads".
