Works, but not on all helmets
On the helmet I normally use the mount was too wide and not curved enough. I did put it on another helmet and it did work. If they also added a clamp system it should work on most helmets that have air circulation slats in them. I did put glue on the mount in addition to the existing adhesive just to be certain.

Mount Fin Broke After 2 Uses
Mount does a nice job of connecting to all components and was compatible with other GoPro accessories. Held my camera sturdy and mounted to my ski helmet just fine.Main problem is that one of the mounting fins broke off when unscrewing the bracket to remove it from my helmet. cheap, mediocre plastic mold lead to an early failure. Sad :(

prepare to have a small handy saw on hand!!!
u need to shave the threads on plastic adapter to half way or the camera will wobble left and right on top of adapter plate.

Well made and secure
I bought this to attach my Yi Action cam to my kayak. So far so good. I haven't lost anything to the ocean yet 😁

Doesn't tighten. Camera moves up and down and side to side way too easily.
I can't get the thing to tighten enough to hold the very small action cam in one spot. It is way too easy for the cam to move up and down and side to side... Pretty disappointed.

Low Quality Product
Product is molded with parts that have a rough fit. They do not easily mate, which would make placing and removing camera mounting difficult. I would not recommend this product due to its low quality.

Perfect for normal cameras!
I bought this adapter kit along with another so that I can use my Canon Elph as an action camera. This fits normal cameras and then i bought a harness and head harness to add this to. Thanks for making something that is so useful!
