Iv owned this unit for about 3 months now starts on choke first pull then quickly give it throttle and the choke automatically turns off and keeps on running no second pull required. Iv been using pump gas 87 octane non ethanol treated with star-tron as I do with all my small engines and it continues to start and run well. Has a nice metal washable air filter Wich like, it's light weight and fairly quiet Wich is nice. Saw some reviews complaining the handle is weak and flimsy but it's not it's rubber mounted to reduce vibration so it flexes a little but still solid. Overall my only dislike is it's slightly underpowered compared to similar 2 stroke handhelds like the echo or Stihl but still does fine for the majority of needs like blowing off grass clippings ECT. I use these alot to dry my cars after washing and it takes a little longer with this one but less noise so it's a gain/loose situation vs the two strokes Wich I love but this is a nice change to use when I don't want to make as much noise. Overall I like it and would buy again if it lasts for a few years. Change the oil often on these as they don't hold much and using the choke to start can dilute the oil with gasoline overtime.

Senix is unresponsive when warranty issues arise, for months now. One of the fuel lines deteriorated, spewing fuel onto my back (backpack unit), noticed first when running, spilling out onto my clothing. Amazon's executive offices tells me to contact Senix but, again, they are not responsive either in written communication or electronic. What a waste of $300 plus. Three year warranty is crap!

blows nicely but not the best starter and the kill switch doesn't always want to work

I am the proud owner of a Senix 49cc 4 cycle backpack blower. This blower was very easy to set up and use. The blower uses a 10w 30 oil in a separate chamber which the included oil is slightly to much so Do not Overfill. Blower states it uses 170ml of oil which is included but do not overfill, oil must be within the threads, there should be a little bit left in the bottle after filling oil reservoir. I pushed the gas bubble about five times which it filled with gas and put the choke level on choke in the upright position, pulled starter rope two to three times and it started, I then took it off choke in downward position. I let it idle 30seconds then started blowing. I think this blower is like the 600 lol if you know what I mean.

Not having to mix gas is great but it is not very strong for the amount of leaves that I have but if you have light needs it works well.

Starts easily and idles great. Customer service easy to access and very responsive. First blower ran great, but stalled and died if throttle pulled past 3/4 to full throttle. Customer service responded quickly with several recommendations, all of which did not solve the problem, so they sent me a replacement which works great. Never could figure out why the first one would not run at full throttle, but customer service providing a replacement at no additional cost to me was a plus. Hard to find that kind of responsive customer service now days! The blower has a 4 cycle engine which requires no oil in the gas, runs much more quietly than a 2 cycle engine, much easier to start, and runs much more smoothly at idle. As several other reviews have mentioned, the 4 cycle engines do not develop as much RPM and thus the blower does not put out as much air as you would expect from a 2 cycle blower, but I like the fact that it does put out enough air to blow even wet leaves. More important to me is that it smoothly idles at a lower speed than a typical 2 cycle blower, and at idle, puts out enough air so that I am not blowing leaves all over the place! The only other issue with this blower is the air intake is on the left side so if you are right handed and hold it close to your body, the air intake can be blocked and restrict the amount of air it can blow. Great if you are left handed! Not a big problem to work around, but need to be careful to not restrict the air intake while holding the blower. Great blower, great value for the money since most 4 cycle blowers are hundreds of dollars more than this blower, and unbeatable customer service, if you need it.
