My windows create a lot of condensation , so I've removed all the net curtain s and replaced it with the privacy film ...it's totally transformed my room , and makes the room look so much larger, I still have the privacy and for once, No condensation any more....I'm really pleased with it and it's so easy to apply ...

After I destroyed my net curtains trying to get them bright white again in the washing machine I was looking for an alternative without the price tag of expensive shutters. Living on a busy North London street privacy is an issue and I was at first dubious if this product would do the trick or would just look like a window sticker.We have just finished applying the foil and I am absolutely delighted with the outcome. A modern alternative that doesn't break the bank, in fact it looks like we've got brand new etched windows. No light is blocked out and it's easy to see outside yet the view looking outside in is really well blocked, even with the lights on.Application was straight forward, we followed the instructions and used a spray water bottle, dish towel to remove excess water, credit card and crafting scalpel to cut off any excess foil once applied.I would highly recommend this product, a great look and excellent functionality for relatively little money.

Easy to install but make sure you have all tools ready prior to starting. I made sure to buy brand new Stanley/craft knife blades. You'll also need a long ruler or something straight, metal is best as you'll be using a sharp knife. I wanted mine so that the lines were horizontal similar to a venetian blind so had to match it up as the roll comes in vertical stripes. Either way, it was pretty easy. I used a spray bottle with the tiniest bit of washing up liquid to water. I held the film up to the window with the backing film still on (textured side facing toward you not the window) and made a nick so i knew where to cut it, leaving about an inche at either side to cut precisely once fitted. I then cleaned the window and dried it, then super soaked the window and started to peel the film off (tip, use the blade of your knife to separate it otherwise it takes ages. Then whilst holding it up on the window, peel off all the backing and line it up, I used a squeegee rather than a bank card to push out the water to the edges (the film sticks by suction) as its a bigger surface area. Then just push a ruler right up to the edge and cut off the excess. I found this really easy to do but it's essential to have the water bottle, ruler, blade, squeegee at the ready. A few times I had to peel it up and spray more water as I trapped a hair in there and that creates unsightly bubbles. The privacy ie good ad the clear stripes are ever so slightly distorted (but not like fun house mirrors), the frosted effect bit lets light through but you cannot see anything through it.

We moved house 3 months. I didn't want net curtains and we didn't know what colour blinds we wanted.This film was the perfect solution. It was super easy to install. Make sure you have a fresh Stanley knife blade and a spray bottle with water to saturate the window, we used a Costa loyalty card as a scraper tool to squeeze the air bubbles out 👌🏽Once its up its very private, you can see out a little bit but unless you are stood at the window you can't be nosey. From the outside, during the day you can't see in at all, even with the light on. Unless of course you are stood with your hands against the window. At night, with the light on, you can see shapes of people. I will add another photo later.This has been up for 3 months now and hasn't moved since installing it. I will be interested to see if if survives the winter months with the heating on etc.Overall, I couldn't be happier!!

Put it on the windows with no problem and it looks good and provides more privacy. I also bought a set with a craft knife etc which really made things easy. Item arrived quickly, thank you.

So easy to use, good instructions and looks 👏 saved lots not buying new doors !!

The media could not be loaded.  Cut the film a couple of cm wider than the actual window or door. REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE CLEAR BACKING, use plenty of water have a good squeegee, sharp cutting blade and ruler for neating around the edging once applied otherwise it won't stick to the glass properly.At night the transparency is poor, I had to apply a second layer of film on the lower half of the window for a bit more privacy, yes it does stick just follow the same process on the instructions.

Just take your time fitting this and follow the step-by-step instructions carefully. Remember to measure twice and cut once, the finished results are amazing.
