Myrrh Tincture, Myrrh Extract (Commiphora myrrha) for Indigestion - Non-GMO in Cold-Pressed Organic Vegetable Glycerin 670 mg, Supplements 670 mg

I have been using Myrrh tinctures and extracts for 50+ years. I was using them before most people had ever heard of them. Now they are popular. Why is that? Because they are effective.I employ them for specific purposes and I am not suggesting anybody else should do what I do but I am going to share what I use them for and you can draw your own conclusions.We have a lot of cats. A couple of them are what would be considered feral. One feral female has been here for six years and she does not like to be touched. A feral tomcat shows up every few days to get something to eat. He's a nice cat but he's a feral tomcat and that is the problem. We have a local spay/neuter service in our area that will "fix" a tomcat like him on the first Saturdays of each month. This guy must have a calendar on his Apple watch because he never shows up on that first Saturday. Ever. I am kidding about the watch. I am not joking about his uncanny sense of what day it is. Suffice it to say, he remains an un-neutered male. He has been showing up here for a couple of years. Fairly miraculous that he's still around.He goes out, tomcats around, then returns, starving and all cut up because he has been out fighting with all the other feral cats who also survive somehow out in our rural area. When he shows up wounded I always try to have Myrrh available in liquid form so I can apply it to his wounds. I prefer the varieties that are not suspended in alcohol because that stuff really stings the cats when you apply it and you want them to be compliant when you get that eyedropper out. This particular extract is alcohol free. I bought two bottles.About a month ago this guy showed up favoring his left front leg, being very gingerly about putting weight on it. He hissed at me when I tried to take a closer look. He was clearly in pain. His leg was swollen and he had a huge scabbed over wound. I won't get into the gory details but I was able to treat the wound with Myrrh extract, this brand. Initially he reacted to it because he was in pain. On subsequent visits I have continued to apply the extract to that area on his leg. He's not reacting at all now. The swelling is gone and it seems to be healing. He's acting normal, putting weight on it again.I have many other tales of the efficacy of Myrrh in treating cat wounds and also human wounds. It really seems to work well on infected areas. After 50 years of using it I cannot praise this substance highly enough.(update) Six months later. The feral tomcat is still around. He showed up this morning for breakfast. I always inspect him for any new wounds while he is eating. His leg wound that I was treating with this extract last fall is all healed up now. No scar, no scabbing. He kept re-injuring it over the winter and I just kept applying the extract whenever he did. This stuff really helps.

I'm adding this to my mouth rinse for gum care. It seems to be working! And it is a very mild taste you don't even notice it. Highly recommend

I add this to my mouthwash, it soothes inflamed gum tissue.

Great product, taste is strong definitely need to chase it with something.

Do your research as this gem had helped me so much with a few health issues. One cannot say cure however manageable and had made life easier

This is stuff is nothing short than a MIRACLE in a bottle. Nagging cough gone with first usage...this will definitely always be in my cabinet.

I don't smell any myrrh, just gum
