DWS Octopus Hooks (50 Pack): Ultra Sharp High Carbon Steel

I haven't used them yet. As noted in other reviews, these run quite small. I ordered the 6/0, it looks more like a 4/0. If you have used Gamakatsu, Mustad, Owner, even Eagle Claw hooks, these will feel thin and cheap. I usually target stripers, bluefish, fluke, etc. Was planning on taking these for fishing in Baja and I'm not sure they'd stand up to a dorado or barrilete (black skipjack). Guess I'll find out.

For the price these hooks are a bargain. I use Owner mosquito hooks most of the time and these appear just as sharp and high quality at half the price. I'll be buying more size 8 which are a perfect trout size hook.

I black fish a lot and the hooks can get pretty exspensive especially with losing them from wreck fishing. These hooks are great quality and best bang for the buck. I will be purchasing more in every size just to stock up.

I ordered a size #2 hook, but the hooks I received look like a #4 hook. The shanks are shorter than what I expected.

Great price. Good amount of hooks. Buy two sizes bigger if you want the size you want. These run small. Sharp would buy again, just 2x bigger next time.
