Initially this umbrella appeared as a good deal, it looked very sturdy and resistant to the wind destruction. However, it has a very weak joint structure, after using ca. 10 months umbrella's joint pins started to fall. Unless you're a handyman and fix the problem yourself, umbrella becomes unuseable... Although it's an aesthetically unpleasant solution, it simply keeps umbrella in working condition. You need to use a small piece of wire (such as half of a paper clip wire) to fix the joint by replacing the fallen pin (see the picture), after about a year and a half usage practically I had to replace all of the joints of umbrella to keep it in working condition!

The media could not be loaded.  Great umbrella! The umbrella folds to a compact size (13 inches long). When extended the umbrella is 25 inches long and 38.5 inches wide. With a press of a button, the umbrella goes from compact to fully extended. Great for one handed deployment!Great umbrella. No complaints. I may be ordering a couple more.

Choosing a folding umbrella can be a very daunting task, as there are so many – and to confuse the situation even further, many claim to be large and or wind proof! So, where does this fit in?SIZE – This is ideal as a one person umbrella, but can take two with little problem - it is certainly big enough.WIND PROOF? – Many claim to be wind proof, (in other words, not turning inside out). I personally cannot believe any are 100% wind proof, even where we live in Scotland! Today we had very strong winds, which was the tail end of Storm Ophelia, (this is as strong as you could realistically use any umbrella), and my other folding umbrella turned inside out within 6 seconds and took quite a while turning it back into shape - This didn't. This was somewhat unusual weather, but it proved to be an excellent test.BUILD QUALITY – Excellent, as my photo’s will hopefully show. The main arm is strong and each of the ribs, add to the quality and lesser chance of turning inside out. Each rib has a lengthy spring, so again, adding to a little give when very windy.So, in conclusion, and simply put, would I recommend this? YES. It is excellent value for money, does the job of keeping you dry, and well, and probably better than more expensive alternatives.

It's small enough to have a permanent spot in my rucksack so I never really have to think about whether or not I remembered to pack an umbrella which is a good start. The outer sleeve means that the struts don't get caught or damaged. The umbrella definitely holds true to the "POP", when you've taken the umbrella out of the sleeve and undone the velcro pushing the button causes the handle to extend and the umbrella to open up, with quite the punch. When I bought it I was a little confused by the push to close aspect although what I found that out to mean is that pushing the button again when the umbrella is open simply causes the umbrella to fold up again (perfect when you need to get through a door in a hurry) however the handle remains extended. You then have to push the handle back in (feels like youre loading a spring for the next time it open although that's probably what you are doing). Anyway, great product. Not going to lie, I've ended up liking the product.

My cousin would be proud to own this heavy duty, rain repellent, truly automatic umbrella. It's sturdy design makes it virtually windproof as well, for those long trips above the skyline while traveling to the next nanny assignment. You'll feel secure holding it above your head and when you land the children will be wide-eyed and supercalifragilistically impressed as you push a button and it collapses into a neat bundle, ready to be secured with its handy wrap and pushed back into its handle until the job is finished and you call upon its protection again.
