Indian Women's Traditional Art Silk Saree Sari Drape Skirt Top Veil Fabric

This was bought as a novel way to teach my granddaughters that they have DNA from India & enjoy a saree, so I'm not real ticked HOWEVER this is the worst it was super frayed & the threads were all knotted & tangle UPON TAKINGING IT OUT OF THE PACKAGE. No seams at the end & the oddest teal stripes near the end ( it is lilac purple with gold) making me think that it was the end of production. The stripes were not shown in the photos on Amazon. $15 to teach my granddaughters about DNA is fine, I wasn't looking for quality...BUT IF YOU ARE don't get this one!

This sari is very pretty, but extremely thin and shreds easily (very mediocre quality, I am sorry to say). I use it for curtains, so it is ok, since they stay in the same place. But to wear comfortably and safely, I am not sure it is substantial enough. Does not offer good coverage and if you move a lot, it will probably rip. Also, it is a bit stiff, not soft and silky. Very pretty vibrant colors, however.

Well I suppose first of all, I would have to say for the price this sari is reasonable in quality and beauty, as we all know the extravagant prices that come with higher quality material and design. Second of all, I DID NOT buy this sari for the intended purpose of wearing. Rather, I have 11-foot ceilings in my apartment and wanted something to cover the walls that were vibrant and elegant. I didn't like the hippie feel of most tapestries and saris held the qualities I was looking for while also speaking to my culture. I chose to buy on Amazon because they were cheap enough to use as a display versus the ones I already have. BUT that ALL being said, I'm not sure I wear the sari I purchased. Don't get me wrong, it s an nice vibrant color that I was looking for and beautiful trim, so it would depend on the event I was wearing the sari. Not to a wedding, but it's suitable for birthdays?? Further, there was A LOT of fraying at the bottom as the material is not hemmed, but that's not abnormal. It's just that I took it out of the bag and it was already fraying. Of course you would have to have the top made, good luck with that. But again, for the price, not bad at all.SO to summarize: for my purpose, the sari was great BUT i would also wear as well.

Very, very thin material, lots of loose threading and snags. I expect fraying on the edge as it is unstitched, but there are pulled threads on the design itself and fabric center. Not great. Color is very pretty though, you get what you pay for...

from the reviews I realized this was not a traditional sari. Oh no, it is small and frayed on the edges, not for a sari at all. BUT! I bought it for the fabric AND IT IS NOT SILK

This is exact what I expected from a $15 Sari. One 6 yd piece of synthetic fabric, no stitching. This is not a good sari for wearing, but perfectly fine for craft projects. The fabric is a better quality than I expected.

I bought this for a craft project that I needed the trim for. it is perfect! Not a high quality vintage sari, but a modern poly blend that head beautiful patterns and a nice tight weave. I cut, ironed and hemmed the fabric with no problem, and will use the rest as table runners.

As previous reviews stated, the edges of the fabric was frayed when I received the item. I’m still giving 4 stars because the fabric was beautiful and it worked perfect for my 9 year old’s Indian themed day at school. If you need one in perfect condition, well, you’re going to have to pay more. But I was glad to find this item at this price since I only needed it for one time use. Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase and would buy again.
