Angler's Fish-N-Mate 143 Sr Fishing Cart

This cart exceeded our expectations, even though it was given high reviews. We are very particular. We put off purchasing a cart for years because we didn’t think we would get a cart (sight unseen) that would be up to our standards. The cart was easy to put together. It is lightweight but very sturdy. It is easy to lift up to put in the back of our 4Runner. The cart has plenty of room for our 2 chairs, umbrella, large cooler, and fishing bucket. It also has plenty of holders for our fishing poles. Excellent value and worth every penny! We highly recommend this cart. You will love it!

What a nice cart this thing is. The construction is very sturdy and well made. No corners cut. I do have to say the tires smelled for about a day or so. I put the cart in the sun and the smell went away in just a few hours. No problems with anything on this cart. I also bought the bucket holder. Man that is a must! Totally cool cart. I mean all the way around this thing is SO handy for surf fishing and pier fishing. I saw several of these at the beach and people had modified them in different ways to suit there needs. The bait cutting station is perfect! The weight of the cart is pretty well balanced over the wheels and does a good job loaded down in the sand. I couldn't say I would change much of anything on this thing. Highly recommended. I can not think of any reason not to buy it. This is a lifetime purchase for sure, one and done, should last anyone for years and years.

Best one I have owned. It’s pretty big and fits a lot of stuff. Optional pail holder is good to get if you fish. Rolls easy and has good wheels for the sand. Also all a single welded piece with no screws and connections like some of the cheaper ones I have owned that fall apart. Used it all season and it looks brand new still

This cart has been on my list for about 10 years but I could never justify the money because I only get to the beach to surf fish a few times a year. My wife bought it for me for Father’s Day and I just put it together. Here we goFirst, it is MUCH larger than I thought it would be which it awesome. The welding is great on the tubing. And the bait cutting attachment is way bigger and sturdy than I expected. The pictures on here do it no justice. I have placed a 5 gal bucket (GO DAWGS) in my pictures so you can gauge the size. The internal dimensions of the cart are 42” Long x 17” wide x 8” deep. The rod holders are 1.5” internal diameter. It will hold everything but my 15’ surf rod because the handle is a little over 1.5” in diameter. But no big deal. The tires are huge and I believe they will do just great in even the softest sand. The cart glides with ease.I would think seriously about getting an insert for the buggy because there is no way this will hold things from falling through the bottom deck.I will review again post vacation in a few weeks to let you know how is went.

This is the best cart and especially for the price. My husband and I have looked at many carts like this but nothing else has come close to this one. Unfortunately when we go to the beach for the day, we pack like we are staying on the beach for a week and this cart holds everything. It is light weight, easy to pull and pulls great through soft sand.

Better than cart pictured. Mine came with the larger wheels. Other difference than cart pictured is that all the rod holders are on the ends, not on sides. This is the only reason I only gave it 4 stars. It is easy to add on more rod holders, just get some metal or pvc rod holders, c clamps and some aluminum self tapping screws and you can add up to 6 more rod holders. I use my carts rod holders while fishing instead of sand spikes or leaning it on a pier rail.5/10/22 almost 5 years of frequent use. I live near Beach in SC. So my cart gets used a lot. The only problem I've encountered is that the tires will no longer hold air. No holes in tires, problem is the glue that holds the valve steam seal inside rim does not hold seal anymore. The hard rubber tires are good for piers and bridges. But if your going to be Surf Fishing, I do suggest getting the Poly balloon tires, they make a big difference in how easy it rolls across sand. The cart liner is another great add on. Also the bait bucket carrier is nice, if you live bait fish.

Must have for any pier or surf fisher... Cart is very sturdy and gets all my fishing gear to where i need it quick and easy

The cart I received has yellow wheels (which are cool) and 8 rod holders, 4 in the front and 4 in the back. See attached photos.I have only pulled it in the driveway with a cooler and 30 pound kid in it, and it rolls very smoothly. It is aluminum and light. It came with the bait holder that takes up one rod space.I purchased the Fish-N-Mate 549 Bucket Holder Fits on Fish-N-Mate Cart Rod Holder to put a bucket in. That will take up another rod holder space. And for said bucket, I put a Plano 5 Gallon Bucket Topper and Organizer on top of it.I used LOCTITE 37421 271 Red Heavy Duty Threadlocker - 6 ml Tube on the 4 nuts for the 2 U-bolts as one recommended.I think this is a real nice product that I would recommend.Fish on!
