Fotorama Johnny The Skull Skill And Action Game

It's ok
I had been checking out this game online for quite sometime and finally pulled the trigger when it was on sale for like $18. I'm glad I only paid that much for it. I bought this for my 5 year old son and he likes it, but I think gets bored w/it quick. The gun doesn't show a beam or anything when you shoot it, so you really can't tell if you hit the ghost for sure. Pretty much as long as you point it in the general vicinity of where the ghost is, then it counts as a hit. The gun does show how many ghosts you have hit though, so that's nice if people are taking turns and keeping a tally. The little skeleton dude is cute, but I don't like the stupid feet on it. They fall off constantly. We did have some syncing issues, but for the most part that wasn't an issue. It's an alright toy, but I definitely wouldn't pay the $40 I've seen others charging for it!!!

My kids really enjoy this the only down part i would say is that you have to point the gun at it to start the game and MOST of the time it won't work so i have to turn it of and turn it back on and do everything all over again.. maybe about 2 to 3 times sometimes and it just gets annoying.. but my kids still enjoy it a lot so i guess thats good.. oh and it only comes with one laser gun so the kids have to take turns, which is not the problem, just would had been nice if they could play together.

What a great Christmas gift for my 5 year old - very cute game. You need a darkened room, place johnny in the middle, then choose one of 3 difficulty levels. His head spins around and then he projects a ghost onto the wall or ceiling where it stays for 1-3 seconds depending on difficulty level. You have to shoot it with your blaster. Blaster has an LCD which keeps track of score and a reload button which is required after every 6 "shots". Fun game and even the instructions are well written/funny.

Great game. Instructions need work.
This is a very fun game to play with the kids. We loved it. It's easy to play and provides light-hearted entertainment. There are not many pieces to assemble. You just put the legs on, insert batteries, and play. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the instructions were poorly written and somewhat confusing about how to start the next player's turn. At first we thought we would have to wait for the gun to turn off (there's no off switch; you just have to wait) before the next player could take a turn. It turns out that's not the case, but the instructions don't specify.

And honestly its fun for me too
My 3 1/2 yr old son loves it! And honestly its fun for me too! Especially love seeing my kids enjoy themselves, that always makes me happy :) you have to use it in a very dark room or when its dark outside to get the full affect and not a room that is really big, its easier in a medium sized room.

Save your time and energy and bypass this piece of junk. great concept and IF it worked it would be neat and occupy a kids attention. It worked for about 3 minutes and then the motor that moves the head crapped out. Now we're left with this little plastic decoration that makes repetitive annoying noise and flashes a ghost at one spot on the wall. Nothing more.

We have enjoyed hours of fun with this game
We have enjoyed hours of fun with this game. It is made well and has held up to a 7 and 9 year old. The box is heavy and stores the game well. If you don't mind hours of squealing and laughing this is the game for you. Gets them up and about and having loads of fun. They have played this in just about every room in the house. It travels well too.

Fun game for dark room
You have to play this game in a dark room, which was kind of scary for my younger child but, my 7 year old loved it. The lit up ghosts fly around and make the scary oooo sounds and you try to hit them with the laser gun. It was a lot of fun to play in the dark, but don't bother trying to play it in a light room. The electronic laser gun counts the shots for you. I think It could be better if there were two laser guns so two kids could play at once.

Broken
Bought it and it didn't even work which sucked cause it was for my son's birthday and he was so excited for it. I sent it back and got something else cause I don't want to risk it not working again.

Enjoyable
This is a pretty neat game. You shoot at ghosts that are projected onto the walls. It is fun for the kids and the adults. Here are the cons: Only one gun, so you can't play against someone unless you take turns to see who shoots the most ghosts. And, the gun doesn't have an on/off switch, so you go through batteries really quick. Not sure why Fotorama would omit that?!

Worked for 4 seconds!
Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. There just isn't anything worse that give someone there favorite gift and it not work. Return and got a prompt refund. So sad. P.S. I bought another one locally and so far we haven't had any problems. Just saying I agree with other reviewers, it's hard to say whether you'll get a lemon or lemonade.

Super fun toy for kids!
This is a fantastic toy, super-fun for kids!! You know how kids love stuff that glows in the dark and spooky stuff. This toy will delight your kids for hours. It is pretty simple. Shoot the glowing ghosts with your gun and get points. My four year old grandson is totally in love with this toy. I think he sleeps with it!!

7 year old loves it
My 7 and 4 year old love it.. my husband too... we use energizer batteries and the batteries have lasted over a month so far and don't appear to need changing yet. I do think there could be better instructions on how to play, how to set up for the game (location wise) but you get the hang of it.
