I AM A FIRST TIME MOTHER AND THIS BOOK CONTAINS ALOT OF VALUBLE INFO. THIS WAS MY FIRST PREGNANCY AND I WAS NOT SURE OF WHAT TO DO, WHEN TO DO IT, HOW TO DO IT AND SO ON. ONCE I HAD MY BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL, IT ALSO PROVIDED ALOT OF INFORMATION ON BREASTFEEDING, BATHING, MASSAGING AND NIGHT TIME HINTS. THIS BOOK IS A GREAT ASSET FOR A FIRST TIME MOM AND I RECCOMEND IT VERY HIGHLY!

disappointed to find this was an american book and not as I thought a second hand copy of an English Mothercare book. Admittedly info still valid but americanisms and words abound, also lists of helpful organisations at back of book are all american organisations and addresses. Bought as Christmas present for newly pregnant daughter in law and don't have enough time to source a UK relevant book so it will have to do until I get to Waterstones

used one of these in my own pregnancy years ago, so got one for my daughter , she keeps referring to it already, baby due in 6 weeks
