Great while it lasted (and it didn't last long!)
Gas pack itself seemed very well made. No plastic bits inside can like others have mentioned, wasn't leaking when attached to my ATV rack for about 200 miles.First time I filled it on a 500 mile ATV trip to the UP of Michigan/Northern Wisconsin, and secured it to my ATV with the RotopaX RX-LOX-PM Pack Mount Lock... full fuel pack (with lock included) went flying off ATV rack and I didn't notice until we stopped to eat. Lock base still secured to my ATV with MY hardware.I guess you'd have to ask whoever found it if it leaked or not. And if you were the person that happened to find it I'll send ya the key, and the lock base! worthless without...Total disappointment! Hesitant to reorder!

Warranty is bogus. (edited)
After 3 years of use my 2 gallon Rotopax developed a leak on the bottom seam. I purchased the Rotopax from Rotopax Direct on Amazon. When I contacted Rotopax for a warranty claim they told me I had to contact Amazon for a replacement since I purchased from Amazon. Really? Do you think Amazon is going to fulfill a warranty claim 3 years after purchase? Clearly Rotopax has no interest in honoring their own product's warranty.UPDATERotopax reached out to me and is sending me a replacement container. I'm thrilled the company is standing by their product!

Sturdy, no leaks
Great tank. I replaced the nozzle to the old school self vented. Had to removed the screen inside the fuller nozzle though. Recommend

I will NEVER use KOPLIN tanks again
I will never use the Koplin Fuel Taks again if i have to. They have been nothing but a pain. They leak and I had to come up with a whole new way of keeping them from leaking. I bought a Rotopax Gas can for my 10-15 day wheeler hunts. I still have to use my Koplins but this can in comparison blows the Koplin out of the water!! The can itself seems more ridgid even though the Koplin is ridgid too, the Roto just looks and feels like a more ridgid product.BUT the real kicker is the the spout and cap system! On the Koplin the major flaw is the cap. It simply just doesnt work. The plastic is flemsy and is truley the weak link. If you hold the cap up to the sunlight the plastic seems thin and translucent. On the Rotopax... flawless. Pure and simple ...it works. Tough ridgid material,, heavy duty, and get this...IT DOESNT LEAK!!! What a concept! I own six koplin tanks because for the longest time thats all i knew there was. When you fuel up wheelers and boats with the koplins they are awkward and hard to handle, even with the spout working, which never does. The 2 gal cans in a sence are the same as the 4 gal because the lock together, but are so much easier to handle. A smaller person man /woman could handle these just fine. A smaller man or woman with a koplin would have fuel spilled all over the place! There simply heavy and awkward.I will continue putting these cans to the test and would like to increase the number of these cans in my fleet. The ONLY reason for listing it as FOUR STARS is because of the price. I mean $75 for a gas can when you get doen to it...its just too much. I would be more comfortable around the $60 mark just because they are better than Koplin and better made but 75 is a lot of money for 2 gallons. Now i just top off my two gallon tank and use it for my traveling tank. the koplins all stay at hunt camp.

Very well made gas can
This can is great. I use it in my ATV with the mounts they sell. Pricey but well worth the cost as it is sturdy, allows for many mounting options and seals well. I hare it when gas leaks out of my container on a trail ride. With this there is no worries of that. Also nice poor spout. Great options for stacking or tying together with another container with the provided clip.

I love it.
I love it... This little piece of sunshine gives an old fart like me, the security of two gallons of fuel. I cant tell you how many times I come in at midnight from hunting and running on fumes... most of the time, I think, I am only going ten miles from camp... next thing I know it is dark and im thirty miles from camp... I am ashamed to admit it, but I have run out of gas and have had to been towed back to camp... Ive had to walk a few miles back to camp because of running out of gas... I carry a little generator with me, if I know I'm not coming back to camp and this is perfect because now I have gas for my generator... ( I use generator to run my cpap machine).. When there is snow on the ground and you are skinning a thousand pound elk and it is cold... you now have gas to start the bon fire... quickly... easily installs on any machine.. you can add more packs, like water or stove oil or whatever... great little product...

Great product
Easy to assemble however i recommend taking the door off before mounting. Makes it easier to line up the hinges when you mount the bracket.
