We bought to use as costumes for my daughter and her friend and they worked perfect. They are a heavier light weight stocking which was great. The girls said they were super comfy.

Not as opaque as pictured. Also, tight on my thighs and kept falling down. I have muscular but fairly average-sized thighs for reference.

Don't stay up past my knees .. Rolls down
