I bought this for an elderly lady I assumed that it would have a hinged cover, but not so. After entering the chosen code the cover can be removed but for fumbling hands this can be difficult. Perhaps I wasn't attempting to refit the cover correctly but I found that the only way I could make it fit was to enter the code again into the cover for it to fit back into place, all very cumbersome for fragile hands. I am donating the safe to the next church tombola.

Fiddly to use and set the code. As other reviewers have said you have to take off rubber cover, then put in code and the whole front comes off. You need more hands! Only lasted 6 months and then it jammed with the key in box... would not buy again.

When remove the front to access the key it is vety difficult to get back in place and after only a couple of weeks won't go back in place at all. Had to buy different type of box and start again. Shame because it is sturdy and would have been perfect.

I be am nearly 70 and trying to use this was very frustrating as when opening it came out completely and very hard for me to put it in again it needed to be hinged

Used twice and the rubber cover ripped. Also, you have to remove the front to access it then type in the code again to lock it, which is a nuisance. Not great quality and not recommended.It was returned and a prompt refund was received.

Brilliant little key safe ... easy to install and peace of mind knowing I have a spare...price good and came quickly !

The out casting could do with being fired to the wall or careing

Bought it to keep a spare door key in. Pleased with my purchase.
