Surgeon's Skin SecretBeeswax Moisturizer 4oz. & 1oz. Jar (Combo Pack) - Lavender

I’ve been using this every night before I go to bed for the past 10 years. I put the these wax on my feet and cover them with socks prior to this I was constantly dealing with cracked hills so painful I could barely walk. I’m obsessed with all of the surgeon products and cannot recommend them enough especially if you have dry skin like me. Fantastic product. I’ve run out a few times and tried other heel creams, foot creams, pretty much any brand you can think of and nothing works like this. I will say that the scent is pretty strong. If you don’t like the smell of almond, orange, or lavender I would recommend getting the unscented. Also you definitely want to put socks on after use to avoid grease in the carpet.

I am never without this in my house! If you ever get cracks in your fingers, this works perfectly! Any abrasion of the skin that needs to stay soft while it heals is what I use this for.

I find this 'cream' can be misunderstood.It's quite solid, perhaps due to the beeswax, but for a layer of protection, it can't be beat.I use the back of a fingernail to scrape some out of the jar, and once I begin to spread it, the heat of the body warms it up.Then it can be applied properly, and once it's there, I can wash my hands a couple of times before it begins to wash off.If I don't want it on my fingertips, I put some on the back of one hand, and rub the backs of my hands together. Voilà! :)I really appreciate that. I spend quite a bit of time outdoors in cold weather, and if I remember to apply some of this before I go out, my hands stay in really good shape.My husband is a painting contractor, and works with his hands in spackle and paint thinner and all the other stuff that goes with the territory. I have been using this product for years. I do not use it everyday, but I could. For my feet, I put it on at night and wear thin socks to bed. It really softens the very rough skin on my feet. It works great on my hands and lips too. It takes a little extra time to work into my skin, but the results are worth it. I do not find it greasy.

This is probably the greatest invention ever for really SERIOUSLY dry skin. Especially if you have to wash your hands repeatedly with soap, during the day. (Like surgeons . . . and doctors . . . and me.) It's not diluted, so it's not gushy, and doesn't "slide" on like a lot of creams. I get the unscented, (which has a very faint scent of bees and honey and beeswax). And with beeswax in there, you have to figure it'll take some massaging to get it worked into the skin. And it does, but it's worth it.In the winter, the sides and tips of my (flip-flop wearing) husband's toes tend to crack. Deeply and painfully. Winter after winter. We tried everything I could think of -- creams, petrolatum, anti-fungals, everything -- but nothing helped. Then I found this amazing and wonderful stuff, and it's the only thing that has ever helped.He puts it directly onto the painful and cracking skin, and It goes to work immediately, reducing the dryness and the pain. And within maybe 48 to 72 hours, the pain is gone and the cracking is visibly reduced.I don't know what we'd do if we had to get through the winter without it, so please don't ever stop making this stuff!

This is the ONLY hand treatment I'll use. I've been a devoted follower of Surgeon's Skin Secret since 1996! I am an x-ray technologist and I am constantly washing my hands. With this product, you can wash your hands and it doesn't wash off! My hands were dry, cracked and bleeding and I tried everything on the market, but nothing worked. I originally found this product on QVC and decided to give it a try. Within days, my hands were healed and they felt a million times better. I never thought my hands would look 'normal' again. I've told friends and co-workers about this product and they are now believers. I was thrilled to see this item on Amazon ... my favorite shopping spot!I found the best way to use this is to: 1. Wash you hands. 2. Blot off the excess moisture (you don't want to totally dry your hands). 3. Use about a small pea-size amount of Surgeon's Skin Secret and rub in well; especially at your problem spots. 4, Massage the product into your hands thoroughly.Don't hesitate! If your hands are dry and cracked, try this product. It WORKS!

Product advertised as being able to last through hand washings not true. Makes my skin feel wonderful but it is to heavy and grease to use at work. Gunched up my mouse and keyboard, and left greasy finger prints on my documents. Best used as a night hand cream and on my feet. Very soothing and pleasant smelling.

If you want to heal small wounds and scratches and overall soothe your dry skin, you won't find better than SS. In my experience, when compared to other moisturizers it is worth the extra expense for the satisfaction you'll likely derive from the ingredients in this product.
