The right size for the dinner table or bathroom countertop!
Perfect size for the dinner table and keeping our toddlers on track. Otherwise, we would eat dinner and have baths for hours at a time....Seems sturdy enough. I like that it's bigger than the tiny sand timers that come as a pack. Those are great, too, but this is a better size to put on a shelf for them to see. The 2-3 year olds seem to like to carry the tiny timers around, which defeats the purpose if you ever want all of the sand to actually get to the bottom. Saw this at preschool. It's definitely a good tool to bring home.
