Rubbermaid Commercial Swinger Loop Mop, Blue, Extra Large (FGC15406BL00)

My daughter and I recently purchased the tattoo studio she's worked in for 6 years. Since I lack artistic talent, I have been designated the shop manager/janitor. Every day the studio is cleaned to medical grade standards so a good mop is essential. The previous owner had always used cheap cotton mop heads which left little pieces of white string all over the floors. Those cheap mop heads would get snagged on everything and lose a bit of themselves with each day's cleaning. And because the cheap mop heads came apart so easily, they would only last about 2 months if we were lucky.I knew there had to be a better mop head so I took to Amazon to search out a solution. After reading reviews and specs and comparing prices, I purchased two of the Rubbermaid Commercial FGC15406BL00 Swinger Wet Mop Heads. These were a whooping $10 more than the cheapo mop heads normally bought at the shop. But darn it... I was willing to spend $20 more (we use separate mops for the tattoo & piercing rooms and the rest of the shop) if I didn't have to glove up and crawl around picking up pieces of crappy McMopster every day.The mop heads arrived last week and with great fanfare we installed them on our mop handles. As I mopped the shop for the first time with the new heads, I was blown away by how much easier and faster it was to get the floor clean. These mop heads glide over the porcelain tiles, vinyl tile, and concrete floor with ease. There hasn't been one fiber left on the floor or stuck to any of the equipment or furniture. We hang the mops to dry each day and they do dry fully.Never in my life have I thought I'd be singing the praises of something so mundane as a mop head but here I am singing away.

I was tired of floppy, poor quality mop heads. I own a business that uses mops non stop with heavy cleaning agents. I really like this product. It is very commercial however...almost too big and heavy.

I love this mop head. I have a ton of tile in my house and have been searching for the perfect mop head for years. After reading other customer reviews, I decided to give it a shot and could not be happier. After several uses, my floors remain clean much longer without streaks, strings getting caught on furniture and a truly visible difference with only one pass of the mop head. Highly recommend.

I bought this because a tried to launder my standard all-cotton mop head and it wound up a tangled mess. I believe the red band is there so that doesn't happen. My main complaint is that the this head does pick up nearly as much water as the all-cotton head. If fact, the material seems kind of hydrophobic. I would estimate it picks up about 60% of the water that a all cotton head would. I started a job with this, but when I found how long it was going to take I switched to my Shop Vac.

Way better than the crappy cheap cotton mop heads! These hold up very well and do not fray at all and leave little stringy pieces on your floor. Stay in good condition for a long time. Been using same mop head for 7 months. Use with Rubbermaid Commercial Gripper Clamp Style Wet Mop Fiberglass Handle with Plastic Yellow Head, 60-Inch Length, Green (FGH24600GR00).

Operating a 65,000 sq foot entertainment facility can be a chore to keep clean. We have a ride on floor cleaner for when we are closed. We use these mop heads to spot clean or mop where the machine can't go. They are amazing at cleaning messes and last forever even with regular washing. Will buy again.

Durable and chemical resistant. No signs of breaking down at all after extensive usage. Much higher quality than "consumer" quality mopheads and can be safely washed in a washing machine. Despite a higher initial cost I firmly believe I will save money in the long run using these mopheads.

This is a good heavy mop that will mop a floor well. That said it is not for a home with pets. This mop will not pick up hair at all. Even though I sweep before I mop I still end up with a pet hair stuck to my floors. I would think it wouldn't be good for places like a salon or spa where hair is cut either.

Works great and very absorbent, does a quick job when cleaning up wet spills and makes mopping washroom floors painless.
